Default Paul Williams will never lose to a welterweight

Solong as he can make the welterweight weight limit, he will never lose. He is the future of the division. Of course with time he will have to move up, and then he will lose, but as long as he can stay a welter weight, he will be undefeated.

I just wanted to get that on the record.

CC for the bravery. Still have to see the Mitchell fight but I am a fan of the guy, just the leaky defense bothers me.

Williams enjoys such a height advantage at Welterweight , however if they match him up where the height is not so exaggerated say against Antonio Margarito, or even Kermit Cintron Williams could have some difficulties , but the short guys will never get it done that for sure. ! IMO

Are we saying that there is a guy that Floyd will not beat? He counts as a shorter guy. Hmmm

Hypothetically, the fight happens tomorrow. Both in tip top shape. Who wins?

Put him in with Quintana & he loses. Simple as that.

CC. Agreed. Just minutes from this download being finished so I can give some real input.

Paul is dangerous but by NO stretch of the imagination is he unbeatable, I think Margarito would outmuscle him, Hatton would maraude and get inside on him, no one gets inside better and controls range than an on-song Ricky Hatton, and Mayweather would be too clever, quick and would see shots coming. However i think Paul would be too much for Mosely to cope with, with his dwindling reflexes.

Hatton hasnt been on-song at welterweight.

Honestly, I quite dig Paul Williams & what he brings to the table...but...he's got way to leaky of a defense for me.

He'll do good...but I aint on the boat just yet...I'd rather be half way to shore before the fwocker sinks to the bottom than swobbing the deck just yet.

This is coming from one of the biggest PBF fans. Paul Williams is the future at 147. The guy is a good power hitter, a ridculously long reach and wingspan, fast hands, plus he is a southpaw, and he throws a ton of punches. PBF vs Williams would be like the Ray Leonard vs Tommy Hearns of this decade. Williams is just a freak, if I were Williams I'd kill myself to stay at welter or just jump up to 160 now and settle in. I heard on BAD that he was willing to go from 147 to 168 for fights, he shouldn't see saw like that, it could ruin his body. I think he has a shot to knock out anyone at 147. People talk about Tony like he is God, if Williams ever fights Tony, Williams is TKOing Tony no doubt. The guy is that good, I don't think there is anyone at 147 that can beat him. Maybe PBF if he runs, but PBF has shown that he can have problems with southpaws, well, Paul Williams is a southpaw that throws 100 punches a round, hard to run from that. Williams is now my second favorite fighter next to Floyd. He just has to work on defense and slow down a bit and realize that if a true power hitter hit him with clean shots like the ones he took from Sharmba, he could get KTFO. But Williams is the guy NOONE will want to fight, not Tony, NOBODY will want to fight Williams.
