    Default Margarito

How come so many of you people sweat Margarito so much. i neva seen him fight until just now.. they showed him against sebastian Lujan and im not impressed at all. Paul williams would destroy him and have a margarito pizza. im sick and tired of everyone ducking Paul Williams its pretty ridiculous

it is always easy to assume when a fighter has yet to have a huge fight....I think you Paul Williams wagon needs a few more miles under its wheels.

I don't think they have even put the wheels on the wagon yet.

Williams against Margarito would be painful.......................for Williams.

Heres the problem: Margarito holds the WBO Belt. Everyone says that he is not worthy of fighting a top 5 fighter like Floyd. Well, how the hell are we gonna know if hes a top world class fighter if none of the top world class fighters will fight him. PBF, Hatton, Baldomir all had opportunities that They say Margarito shouldnt have. IF ZAB NEVER FOUGHT BALDOMIR THEN BALDOMIR WOULD STILL BE AN UNKNOWN. IF KOSTYA NEVER FOUGHT HATTON, HATTON WOULD NOT BE WHERE HE IS. BIG NAMES MAKE BIG NAMES WHICH EVENTUALLY MAKE BIG FIGHTS............But the guy needs a chance first

Don’t let posters like these two http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-1fIEpBy90 pull the wool over your eyes but instead look at what the great majority have said about the fight. Here are just two of many:

He isn't avoided because people are afraid.

Anyway Bob Arum is keeping his 'investment' safe and not letting him fight anyone that could expose him!

Margarito could have fought Sharmba and if he had done well no questions..but he didn't and Arum made sure he didnt. AND he didn't want to fight Williams either..so there you have Mitchell and Williams fighting and Williams wins.

Now Margarito is fighting Joshua Clottey AFTER Josh looked ordinary his last fight although the low blows may have been the reason

I don't know why a lot of u hate margarito so much! what makes u think that margarito is affraid of williams when he wants to fight mayweather, it does'nt make sense. Im pretty sure williams would get his a$$ handed to him, i mean he is a good fighter but i dont think he is ready for the kind of power margarito packs Come on he ripped a guy's ear off, i dont know how r u supposed to train to not get ur ear ripped off i dont think there's any exersice for it.

How much credit would he have gotten for that? Honestly. Not much. I'm surprised Williams got much of any at all to be honest but you know the people that hate Margarito, they are not many Williams haters, would have just talked about how he beat up on old Shotba.

Clottey's a better fight, no doubt.

I still think Margarito would have gotten more kudos if he had fought Sharmba. But then Margarito doesn't like to fight movers does he?

I'm actually tiring of Margarito a bit, but the Clottey fight isn't terrible, definitely better than a Sharmba fight. But he needs to pick it up and stop just waiting and hoping for Floyd to sign a contract, there's people out there who are willing to fight him, fight them, waiting is not a good strategy. Clottey's a pretty decent first step but he needs to keep picking it up.

Yeah Clottey looked very impressive (much more than Sharmba's last fights) in his last fight especially since he only had a week or two notice to fight that little columbian monster.

Clottey's record is more impressive than Williams
