ive read alot of the threads on the forum saying how great rjj was in his prime and that he was untouchable. well i was wondering, apart from the tarver n badi ajamu fights was there ever any boring fights involving rjj in his prime. id like to know this as i have ordered his career set going on what he fought like in short clips i have watched on him in his prime. also which fights should i look out for in which he was at his best. many thanks.

LOL, it is easier to name the exciting RJJ fights

RJJ wasted his talent avoiding the challenges that could of made him a legend.

Hi Mate, funny you should say you have ordered the roy jones jr carreer set....I have just got his career set it came in the post yesterday..and I am really pleased with it...seen a few fights..my fave so far is his fight with Richard Hall i have never seen a better performance by any boxer in a boxing ring superp and worh getting the career set just for that 1 fight alone...I also watched a fight early in his career with a guy called Harris and great to watch him in that lighting fast hand speed....Also another good one Malinga....Hope to see more over the weekend...But my fave so far is the hall fight...

I like you have not seen much of jones but with all the talk got his career set not disapointet so far...I could watch him all day...

That door swung both ways BritKid!

People say he dodged Benn and Eubank...Benn MAYBE but given what happened to G-Man I wouldn't want to fight Nigel either. Chris admitted he didn't want to fight Roy but we don't know

    Ottke
    Dariusz
    Calzaghe

Are other names he was said to have dodged...I don't know it would have been nice to see those fights

That being said he fought: Toney, Hopkins, Griffin, Malinga, Paz, Hill, Woods...his competition wasn't as bad as some other fighters

Yeah very trus he did beat a few very good fighters, even a lot forget to mention he beat up Malinga the south african,a tough old not,who give Benn and eubank problems,I jones put him away in 6 rounds...and knocked him out which benn and eubank could not do if i rememebr right...

Yeah that Olympic fight is on my career set not watched it yet maybe tomorrow will watch it,from wot i hear he got robbed...Think I like most about Jones fights so far is the look on his opponets faces after they have gone a couple of rounds with him, they are astounded by his speed....

The Benn fight should of been made. When Benn lost to Malinga, Jones said he wasn't interested, but everybody on both sides of the Atlantic still wanted to see Benn and Jones.. nobody ever expected Benn to beat Jones on points, but he still had a better punchers chance than anybody even if he did look like S*** against Malinga.

Eubank wanted the Jones fight when he made his comeback, but Jones wanted nothing to do with him and I don't blame him.

Julian Jackson, Lamar Parks, McClellan, Calzaghe, Nunn, Jirov..
