I knew that that was coming, said that very thing...just yesterday.

He has...& he has proven his worth...but it is true...many Yanks & even Brits have not taken the time to see the guy before passing judgement.

Most people (American or not) veiw Beyer as a soft champ that's past it & lucked out one to many times.

That is true. Kess wants respect and Joe wants his big money fight. This should be the one they both want. I hope they can agree to this. But first Kess has some buisness to take care of.

Don't forget that Joe has some business to take care of at the same time on the same night! I think it would be better if Kessler won the fight because it would leave the SMW in a better state than if an ageing Beyer won the fight, because then that would leave us with the situation within 12 months of both champions who hold four belts between them retiring, and 8 fighters fighting for vacant titles, which IMO would be farcicle, but also might bring some new stars into the limelight (though probably seeing a beaten Lacy come back for a belt, a beaten Kessler take one, Allan Green might get one and Froch (maybe) up for one of the belts.

Roll on the future of the SMW division though.

Nope. In all truthitude...I have seen 2-3 Beyer fights.

Beyer looks good fundamentally & he can box...but BUT...he's an aging man in a young bucks division as far as Kess is concerned.

As far as the last fight against Bika...it was a close fight with Bika giving issues & Beyer was coming on at the time of the butt & that's about all I know. That's just what I read.

I truthfully think that Beyer is going to get his ass handed to him...I just think that Kessler is going to show up that strong & determined...but you can never write off experience when it comes to an upstart...then again...Kess has had more fights.

Hard to say how Beyer will fair...but it won't last long.

Half of Kess's fights were at light middle.

He had a couple at middle and has campaigned at super since.

I believe it'll be a win unless beyer has a renaissance night of boxing.

Afterwards Kess needs to fight Froch (once he takes Mger's euro belt).
