Great result for Junior, he's a serious player in the game now and good luck to him. It's nice to see fighters with real ability making ground.
    Where to from here?
He's not a young fella so he needs to crack on.

A win over Corley has no bearing over fights with Cotto,Floyd or Hatton! Cotto would KTFO Witter! (I won't get into trouble for disagreeing will I boss?!)

    Agreed El Gamo.

We have yet to see Witter in with a world class operator. Corley last night was far from world class. I dont think it helped him Witter kept switch hitting mind, so kudos to Witter for that

I beleive Witter made Corley fight his fight last night, will be interesting to see if any of the others allow this to happen.

Fair play to Witter - a WBC belt is not to be sneered at. But what was with that rigid arm stance? I thought he was about to break out the Crane stance from Karate Kid

If he tried that with Hatton he soon be nursing several broken ribs. No IMO he'd have to run for 12 rounds......

no mate would be no fun if we all agreed... just make it more fun when the fight happens

and Matty Corley for me was made to look that way by Witters impressive counterpunching style... he just got fed up of hitting air and getting smack around

Time will tell but for now im a beliver in Witter... the boy did good.

Hairdoo i think he mentioned in the interview we done with him hes after Cotto and Hatton... cant remember what he said after the fight interview

I hear what ya saying mate, but surely Corley could of at least attempted to land a decent shot on Witter.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree on this one mate

Guess we will mate... because for me he was attempting to land a decent shot all night long.. there where alot of shots thrown by Corley that would have took anyones head off

but Witter just slipped and countered
