Overall I think its a good idea, the stuff is safe and legal and works. And Texas is bloody hot.
That being said, trainers are going to want to be careful, and cut it.It absorbs better, and cut it doesnt bounce
Great idea and even in Europe where it's cold compared to Texas it gets hot as f*ck under the ring lights.
Its actually something thats protecting your fighter, unlike say Andro,or heaven forbid roids, were you get an immediate benefit, but either uncertain downsides down the road,or very definit bad onesOriginally Posted by Smashup
This is something I have used myself during trining sessions.
It quenches your thirst, rather than drinking litres of plain water which actualy makes you more dehydrated by diluting the salts and sugars in your body.
I used diohralite, its a drink for dihorea, it works brilliant and is cheper than sugar laden lucazade.
I have also though about the use of oxygen masks, either between rounds or in the dressing room before hand. Your body uses oxygen as as an energy, the more saturated your body is with the stuff the more work output you can give, just like when you are in the gym and you breath from outside a window or door where the air is cooler, in cold air, oxygen is more condensed and therefore you get more pertcentage of oxygen per square metre in cold air than warm.
After your gulp of cold air you instantly feel the benefits because of the higher oxygen levels.
If I were a trainer I would even sneak a bottle of oxygen in to the arena in a kit bag and just sit it under his stool and release the gas while he is sitting between rounds, he will get a massive boost of energy
Im very surprised that with all the trainers in the world looking for legal advantages for their boxers, that they havent thought of these Two very simple solutions to dehydration and exhaustion.
ok, i have a complaint here...
lets all be honest...
CLEARLY there was some corporation that paid for their drink to be allowed to be used during fights so they could sponsor the fuck out of events... and i am pissed off as once again a corporation completley controls a government decision![]()

Whos to say these drinks WON'T be tempered with?
I don't like this one bit, to be honest.
It's always been water and water only.

Replacing lost body fluids (all right kids, they're just sweats) ain't big deal to me.
Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.
I bet Panama Lewis is happy about this.Originally Posted by Trainer Monkey

I'd like this at all...brings back memories of P.J.'s Black Bottle.
Stick with water...it's often on the up & up.
Never beg a 40 dollar hooker...specially after she's just turned down your mom's credit card!!
I didn't have an opinion either way until CutMeMick brought up the tampering issue. Now, I'm not so happy about the idea. Unless, they use the powdered form and it's mixed and handed out at ringside. Or something like that...
haha u beat me to it!Originally Posted by Trainer Monkey
