by the looks of it you are trying to link a photo from your computer
this is not possible you need to click the Additional Options... link just under the box that you add a post to....
scroll down to the part that says "Attach: click the browse button to upload the photo as an attachment in a post and post it....like the test one ive added to this post...

then right click on the image choose properties and paste that url inbetween the url tags like this...

COOL CLICK!!!!!! big thanks to SADDO and everyone who helped. but to be honest Saddo the one thing that prevented me was actually right clicking onto properties? i was just copying and pasting without getting the actual URL from the properties. maybe the other guys can learn from my mistakes?

Okay, all sorted
I've run a few background algorythms which have upped the speed of the flux capcitor.
I've had a word with the server people and they assure me the new freon cooling system will minimise the amount power spikes which seem to be causing the problems.
