I think it would be a horrendously boring fight

Seriously, awful. The styles just don't match up.

Maybe Witter wins, I don't know.

Boring hmmm since Witter likes to KO his opponent I think he will try to KO MAlignaggi to make a point and try to get a fight with Cotto or HAtton or the fact to make a name out of it.

I think Witter would take a decision but I'd be rooting for Paulie

How many junior witter fights have you seen? By the sounds of it, not many! He is without doubt the most boringest(not a real word i know) boxer in the world today.

For this fight to ever happen you would need a promoter thats gone totally insane and the TV company showing it would have to saturate the broadcast with subliminal messages to stop people from falling asleep.

I think Witter's quite entertaining to watch, the boring fights he's been in are against defensive fighters
and that makes a clash of styles, after he lost to Zab he stopped his next 15 opponents!
surly theres more boringest(likeing the word!) fighters out there

    Agreed.

But its a double edged sword.

The Ndou fight started off as a thriller the went down hill after round 5/6.

Not because Witter is a 6 round fighter but jus beacuse he shutss down against a defensive fighter.

Or maybe because he broke his hand.

I've only seen Whitaker twice. Against Hauck on Showtime and clips from the Ndou fight, and the entire Corely fight.

I thought he looked very good against Corley, call him boring all you want to but Corley couldn't do a thing with him or about him, it looked like he was toying with Corley imo and I'd never seen Corley look that bad. There must be something else about Witter then meets the eye, because as good as Corley was, for some reason or another he couldnt get off with Witter, and it says more about Witters skill, if the fight was boring it was because sometime after the 4th Corley stopped fighting and had mentally given up imo.

I for one think it would be a very intertaining fight, Paulie has shown himself to have great heart & I feel his skills match up to Witters. I would love to see Malinaggi out box Witter but I think Witters power would give him a slight edge. Witter may be just a little better all round.
