its all about perspective, and who you have in your life. if your a loner with no body to love or to love you back then life is pretty worthless. I agree being paralyzed from the neck down would top me off ! however if your paralyzed from the waist down and have people that love you, then life would not be as bad.. As for Disfigured samething.. missing an arm or a leg or some fingers or something that would suck ass, but really no big deal in retrospect. now disfigured like burned real bad in the face or some thing like this would be elevated, but then again if you got the right peoples you would be able to manage. now if you don't have anyone in your life ? then your fucked regardless of disabilities or such and life would be hard to deal with . just my opinion.

you could loose a loved one... a parent... a child... brothers and sisters... have all sorts of problems... get disfigured for something etc.

Okay, well the thought of death is obviously a scary one but the actual event of death, which (duh! ) is a perfectly natural, normal, and expected occurance (cringe ), hence, it actually makes me belive that it isnt that bad. The realisation of your impending death can obviously bring you to senses and make you lead a full life.
