    Default Mayorga vs Judah...

Just thought about a fight like that today. would have been cool to see mayorga get some motivation and train hard(not using juice), and go down to welterweight to fight Zab Judah.

Mayorga would never get to 147, but if they did fight, mayorga knock him out.

i dunno mayorga was good at 147 hes only started losing at 160 then 154
and both to absolutely immense competition...
i think theres still alot out there for el matador!!
i would like to see ricardo fight someone with the same qualities as him, someone who could get back at him at a press conference
im not sure anyone has... except for mayweather sr..lol that was classic
yeh zab does have a bad chin but then again zab beat spinks at 147 spinks out boxed ricardo for a win ..
although it was close and didnt incl knockdowns/point deductions etc but stil a win on the rec

i dont agree with that i think zab is to good at 147 to be stopped by somebody like ricardo! mayorga is rubbish lets face it..........i see mayorga swinginng wild for a few rounds zab weathers the storm and stops him in the later rounds

He was 172lb in the ring v Oscar, I agree he used to be better at welter, but over the years (possibly with the aid of juice) he has developed his upper body a lot. Either way, Judah is so chinny, mayorga is exactly the wrong style for him, Judah fights best when he fights against technical fighters, that stay back.

sorry bro no chance... ive seen mayorga brawl and swing for twelve full rounds a few times and plus zab is only strong for the first 6 then he gasses out,
zab would have to either stop him in the first 6/7
or really train hard and have a solid gameplan and outbox him for twelve and make sure he gets 7 rounds in the bank without getting caught witha big shot..
zab certainly isnt strong at the end of a fight but i can imagine if he pulls it off against anyone its mayorga... he gases out time to time but hes jus crazy enough to crack on

he really 172? he couldnt have been cos oscar got a light middle title for that match??
or was it vacant or what?
i wouldnt have thought oscar would fight if mayorga didnt make weight?

i know for a fact that zab is alot better than ricardo! he might be able to throw those bombs for 12 rounds............but zab would have an answer to every single one of them. its either a 1-sided UD or early stoppage trust me

He made 154lb, but his in ring weight was 172lb, thats what i heard anyway. Mayorga tested positive for a diuretic as well, which shows his struggle with the scale, maybe thats where his punch resistance went as well.

yeh no doubt zab take el matador to school any day of the week twice on sunday but hes had problems finishing his fights recently and plus he shines most in a tactical battle...
im not saying i wouldnt want zab to win but also i feel he'd get suckered into a brawl with ricardo cos zab can be a hot head, its definitely a fight i'd want to see!! i dunno what daxx is talkin bout no one would watch that fight... theres your promotion right there ...
two people coming off losses to the best
    two former champs
two hotheads who have nothing to loose at this point in time
    and one good fight baby!!
lol shit i should work for hbo!! lol
its not one i'd put money on is all im saying bro!!

yeh i see what you mean now!! yeh its likely he could have been around the 170 mark on the night!!
i just dont believe that ricardo is a genuine fighter at 154 or 160 is all,
the guy seriously needs to dedicate to training or he wont get any further , also he should learn english!!
damn he'd be so popular if the public could understand what he says at press conferences, the stuff he comes out with is gold!!

zab has the skill but his chin is supect. in front of a guy like mayorga a suspect chin is the last thing you need.

Being a Mayorga fan, a huge one at that STILL, and a pretty big Judah fan let me comment on a few things:
Yeah Mayorga was 172, but that was after making weight, he shot up that high, or least he told Oscar he weighed that much come fight night. Also Mayorga at his best a few years ago, when he wasn't just hungry but starving, and was poor, and desperate, would KO Zab Judah. Mayorga is the bigger man, has the bigger punch, and the better chin. Now, I dunno for sure. Judah could outbox him, certainly Judah is much more skilled and talented, plus Mayorga's chin and resolve don't seem to be what they once were. Both guys are good friends so it probably will never happen. If it did, both men would have to be prepared, and hungry. I'd probably still go with Mayorga via KO, but I love the guy.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

IF Mayorga could make the weight, the fight probably would happen as i actually see Juda as a fighter who doesnt really duck any1 (not to my knowledge).

I actually respect him for that.

However, Juda doesnt fight with the same fire as Oscar and Tito, plus he is kinda chinny.

What im trying to say is Juda would get KTFO....
    In spectacular fashion i imagin

    Sooeey guys
