maybe the hof will turn into titles... they will be loads of them in the future.

Why not there is a title from everywhere else ....Speaking of titles...Anone remember the ODH and fox TV version of the contender...Next great champion or what ever it was?....There was supposed to be some kind of 8rd middle weight title to stem from it...Did this thing ever actually produce?

This was a gimme...He should have been there long ago....Don't they have some rule about how long a guy has to be retired before eligable for election into the hall?...He fought in 1991 so maybe that has something to do with why he wasn't already in......Here is something funny....Him and Leonard both ended their careers with losses to Camacho.......A guy who if in their primes either would have spit out in pieces

funny i got into it at the time but cant remember who the winner was... he got beaten half way through and they brung him back for some reason...

love the way america filims these things... from the dramatic music to the slowmo shots mid fight... flashing the cameras at the wifes, sons, dads when they get hit or are losing... love it

hell there editing could make John Ruiz look exciting

Yeah that part is fact...The Contender was a show they took a few years to get set up...FOX is known for stealing ideas and rusing to make the same show before the other network gets theirs out...EG The wife swap show and the Nanny show...FOX made that boxing show in like 8 weeks....
As for the contender editing....Look at the name of the exectuive producer...Sylvester Stallone...Editing remind you of anything....Rocky is getting his tail kicked flash quick to adrian at home gasping...The slow mo scenes when Rocky is taking a beating or really going toe to toe EG second apollo fight....The gold boxing glove on a chain EG like the one Micky gave Rocky that used to be one of Marcianos cuff links.. and to think we get to see Tarver in the sixth installment...He goes toe to toe with an over aged Stallone/Rocky...Or is it Jones/Roy...Either way both wins were not of the guys in their prime lol

With a 103-16-0 record and 70 of those by KO!!! OMFG!!...you should be automatically in when you retire....

His first fight was in 1968 and he retired in 2001!!! You add it up...Yes thats right, 33 years in the ring!!!
