I like Byrd....he stands a good shot against any of the champs exept Wlad....
He is better than bloody RuizOriginally Posted by miles
Byrd is underrated. Awesome skills for a heavyweight in his time. Was a sitting duck against Wlad. Fought the wrong fight entirely. Probably couldnt have won no matter what the strategy.Originally Posted by brazilianbomber

I don't know man he looks like a slo-mo version of his former self, there is no way he went into the fight of Wlad with the intention of trading.Originally Posted by DaxxKahn
Byrd's day as a Heavyweight contender is past, IMO. This is not just based on the Wladdy fight either, he looked slow and barely beat DaVarryl Williamson and Jameel McCline.

I thought the Castillo fight was supposed to be at cruiser?
Castillo dropped down to cruiser for his last couple fights after the Wlad fight and I was thinking that this was Byrd's first fight at cruiser, maybe Castillo's moving back up for this fight, I don't know.
Glad to see that Byrd is coming back...but I wish that he'd come back under 200lbs.
I just don't think that he needs to fight at heavyweight.
Byrd is truly unappreciated.
In all truth...I'm not so sure that he shouldn't have hung em up after the Wlad TKO...but...then again...I aint him & I don't know what he's up against in that thick skull of his.![]()
Never beg a 40 dollar hooker...specially after she's just turned down your mom's credit card!!
CC, agreed there. Byrd has slowed down. He can be hit much easier now...Originally Posted by killersheep
Eliseo Castillo IS a cruiserweight.
That's not saying muchOriginally Posted by brazilianbomber
He beat DaVarryl williamson easily, because DaVarryl would not engage him.Originally Posted by killersheep
That kinda emphasizes the point right? If Davarryl would have just opened up and let loose, he would have picked up more rounds. Although I almost fell asleep on that one.Originally Posted by Majesty
