I just played the coolest video game in my entire life

, Red Steel for my friend's Nintendo Wii. I am now officially buying a Wii just for that game, which we played for 6 hours straight!!!!! Blowing people away with shotguns and machine guns or dicing them up with a samarai sword, unreal!!!! This is a vid for it which shows how to use the controller (which after only 5 minutes makes it almost impossible to go back to playstation or xbox controllers):

I saw the preview for this game on the television. Honestly, it looks like too much effort. I don't want to swing and tilt the controller around to play a game. I want to sit back and relax...

I know what you mean BoxingGorilla because that's what I was thinking when I first saw the Wii, but I played ExciteTruck and I have to say it was a blast. You don't get tired at all, actually, you get really caught up in it, it really is ingenious how the controllers work. I really can't wait to play Red Steel.

Super cheap, considering how much most consoles normally retail for when they are brand new.

HMV have them for 180 with a copy of Wii sports and a game of your choice, I've heard good and bad things about Red Steel... most of it seems to be from people who haven't gotten to grips with the controller yet (any one remeber using a control stick on Mario 64 for the first time... argh!!!).

I will get this at some point... every console I have needs a shoot em up with a multiplayer... I will definetly be getting Zelda and the Rayman game... looks great... party game.
