He didn't look to sharp, the first two rounds his was landing power shots with no problem, but after that Tsypko had it figured out. If Tsypko would've let his hands go more, he would have taken that fight.

Looks like Lacy is another overrated busted flush: Gets beaten soundly, then cannot rebound from it ever again.

Your'e not giving Joe or Calzaghe their proper respects.

Joe destroyed him mentally...& physically...you don't come back from that too easily.

IMO, Lacy started off good I liked that his punches got straighter he doesn't loop them, I really think his problem is patience...
Once he sees hes not getting his way with a fighter he resort to nothing but power punching.... And completely forgets about his jab and combos...

Though that article is IMO a bit over the top....

The article is wack...but I told you prior to the fight that this was a hellaciousley tough nut to take as a first opponent back after such a mentally & physcially debilitating beating.

He won...but just barely judging from the snippets that I saw.

This is what kills me about boxing fans.

Jeff was a champion, he dominated basically all that he faced, he then faces the best at 168lbs & get's handled & the majority of you want to write him off.

It's a simple case of a great up & comer that jumped to fast by fighting the best in the world & loses. So now...he's overratted & nothing?"

    That's bullshit.

Lacy needs a few more wins to get back to form...but Tsypko would be the last one that I'd have done so with.

Give Lacy time...he can & will come back.

Lacy looked less muscular than he did in past fights. Am I right or was that my imagination?

    It's all about opinions.

I've seen it many times before; fighters get hyped way beyond what they really are, they get exposed badly & then they never get back to their former high level.

Lacy showed in the Calzgahe fight that he just does not have the allround ability to live with the best in the world.

If he had made the Calzaghe fight competitve (which a fighter of his hype should have done), then I would say otherwise.

Lacy is very limited & IMO, he won't come back.

Unless he expands his arsenal of weapons. He can come back, but power punching alone ain't gonna do it. he has to learn to chip away, round by round, with combos and different angles. Once he learns he cannot dominate every fight with power, then he'll be much better off.
