I don't know why he took this fight. All the Puerto Ricans are agains it. I am not Puerto Rican so this does not affect me all that much. I am a Cotto fan and I can live with a win, lose or a draw. I am just glad he is moving up to welter where there is more action. I don't know why Ricky Hatton moved back down. The fight I wanted to see was Ricky vs Miguel and I think I am not alone when I say that. Another fight I am looking forward to is Cotto vs Margarito and I hope Arum makes it happen. I am still going to root for Cotto and I have a funny feeling we will not see a wreckless Miguel Cotto of late.

its a bad buisness maneuver tho, most people dont know torres and a loss to him on paper looks bad to them, i think he is gonna loose pretty bad, but he will still be the man for dominating magalini

lol @ the Malignaggi comment. People are saying Cotto has been strung along very smoothly in his career and that he needs to step it up. I say the same thing. These are fighters not little beauty queens. If you call yourself a fighter than fight tough opposition. I respect any fighter more if he takes a tough fight. Not like that puzzy PBF.

I think this is going to be a great fight. Quintana can really box and move, he will give Cotto a very very strong test. I like Cotto a lot and am nervous about this fight, could go either way IMO. Cant say a bad thing about Cotto win, lose, or draw. Cant wait for this one.

I respect him for taking this fight. Its going to be a great fight and a real 50-50.

In regards to hatton, He has come back down to 140lb because that is where he is best. He can make the weight no problem despite looking like butterbean in between fights so why give other boxers an advantage bt taking away your own advantages

Ive heard though that if castillo and hatton both win on Jan 20th they will get it on in June with the winner of that one moving up to fight cotto (should cotto also still be undefeated)

Mexicans usually fight each other all the time, but not Ricans. This is historical in a sense, even though Cotto and Quintana haven't reached greatness yet. If you read the Puerto Rican papers on a daily basis, you will know that Ricans are HYPED about this. So don't post things you know nothing about!

I should not have said all. I ment to say that alot of PR' are torn about this fight because both are Boriqua and they don't want to see either one lose and I can understand that. If you go to the Cotto forum, you will read how many do not want this fight to happen. I said the same thing you just said. I told them why be torn? Mexicans get down all the time and we try not to trip out about it. I am glad to hear that the Boriquas are excited about this fight. I got tired of hearing the Boriquas on the Cotto forum cry about it and that is one of the reasons I stopped going there.
