Pavlik call for Taylor bout pre-mature

In a post-fight interview shortly after his destruction of the always durable but now 36 Bronco McKart, Pavlik stated that he deserves a shot at Taylor.
He indicated that he's paid his dues and deserves a title match. I like Pavlik. I've seen him fight on several occasions and his ring presence, power and
speed are impressive, to say the least. However, I think it would be wise for Pavlik to finish a contract negotiation that never came to fruition; that being,
his bout with #1 ranked Edison Miranda.
If these two power-punchers can get a contract together and make it to the ring, I think the air-apparent and future of the division will be the victor of the
bout.
Realizing that it's a dangerous fight for Pavlik to take, it's also a pretty dangerous fight for Miranda. They are both young and I'm certain that either of them
can rebound from a loss. But most importantly, it will be the definitive test for both fighters with the winner becoming the 'peoples' champ I.M.O.

Yes indeed. I think this fight would be the most exciting fight in the middle weight division. It should be made. It will be barnburner for as long as it lasts and test the grit of both fighters. I think it would be the most interesting match-up out there right now.

I want to like Pavlik but his power didn't impress me vs Leonard Pierre...a guy John Duddy KO'd in 1 round.

Pavlik does need to fight top 15 guys before calling out JT. Kelly is a big guy and I think he can do damage in middleweight and super middleweight

Pavlik-Miranda has always seemed like a natural to me.

Maybe he shouldn't fight Taylor right away but he does need to step up. I always wonder when a guy is brought along soft like Pavlik has, if maybe his managers think he's vulnerable or if they just think its the best way to build his career.

Well, I think it's only natural for a manager to bring a fighter along fairly cautiously. Look what those bastards did to Reed, essentially throwing him to the wolves before he had a chance to get a good pedigree under him.
What intrigues me about this fight is that it matches two big punchers who could possibly be the future of the division.
I don't think that Pavlik will be moving up to Super-Middleweight until he gets a title at middleweight.

I think in all honesty Pavlik gets hit too much...and his power is not THAT good Duke....I mean people question John Duddy's power and it didn't take him long to get to Pierre but Pavlik he didn't struggle but he didn't do an impressive job on him

Miranda vs. Pavlik is a MUST! But at this point of the game, Miranda, ranked #1, doesn't have to take step backward to fight Pavlik.
In an ideal world, that's the fight I want to see. Pavlik should also fight Duddy, as he would take his head off inside 4 rounds. Duddy is
a fraud.

Maybe to say that Duddy is "fraud" is a bit of an overstatement, Lyle. I'm just not impressed with him and think he will be exposed soon.
I can't say the same about Miranda or Kelly.
Miranda should have taken the title away from Abraham in Germany. He shows a lot of grit and a good chin.
Pavlik impresses me in much the same way but hasn't taken a serious step-up on the world stage. To his credit he's stopped fighters that have
had decent records and never been stopped before.
Taylor needs to fight Winky again and Abraham should give Miranda a rematch.
In lieu of these match-ups, I think the Pavlik vs. Miranda fight is the one to be made.
It's a bit of a coin-toss for me at this point in time with a slight edge going to Miranda after his performance against Abraham.
Further, I'd like to watch Pavlik clean Duddy's clock and give him a proper asswhoopin!

John Duddy is RAW... and he should have looked a LOT better vs Yory Boy but let's not sell him down the river just yet....like I am being very cautious with what I say about Pavlik because he too is raw but they are both young but the main thing that helps out Kelly is he's fucking HUGE for a middleweight.

I think Duddy has some skill but he's more of a brawler....Duddy-Abraham or Duddy-Miranda would be CLASSIC bloodbaths. I wouldn't favor Duddy in either but the guy likes to mix it up as do those guys I just mentioned.

Pavlik seems to be the man of the future....I hope he doesn't get a big head about it and I hope (like all fighters should) he realizes there is always room for improvement

Pavlik has faced 2 C level opponent and no B levels. He would be in way over his head. Taylor by mid stoppage

Pavlik really frustrates me. The guy is almost 26 years old and has 29 fights. What the hell is he waiting for? He needs to fight a top 15 true contender so we can take him for real.

And now he is fighting Zertuche, a man who last lost a to Zuniga (who Pavlik already beat).


I mean your calling out the champ, but continue to fight class C fighters, WTF
