Mundine by UD. People cry on so much about the first fight, they say soliman will flog him in a rematch. WAKE UP PEOPLE! It was like mundines 9th fight, by that time soliman was an experienced fighter...infact it was solimans 19th fight. Mundine was very inexperienced then, didnt have great stamina either. Mundine has now fought guys like kessler, siaca, danny green, echols. Where as the only person really ranking on solimans record is winky. Yeah he did all right against winky but flailing your arms around rapidly doesnt win you a fight. My point is, mundine has improved massively since the first fight, soliman hasnt really...hes just got better management. Soliman will throw loads of punches but mundine is too evasive and soliman cant hurt mundine. Mundines gonna have the perfect mixture of offense and defence in this fight. He will out class soliman and win by a UD.

Solimon is one of those guys that fights like a monkey, throws wild swings, head of iron and that weird move where he runs under punches to get behind his opponent. He may not be the best out there, but it is really hard to put on a good performance against him as you can't train for that. Unless you spar against monkeys of course.

That being said I say Solimon ,close but UD
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

I feel sorry for Mundine. His mega fight with Danny Green was billed as the fight for the right to fight Kessler. Mundine handed Green his ass and since then nothing has happened for him whatsoever.

An easy fight against a complete unknown last time out, Soliman has some kind of a name for giving a flu-drained Winky a long nights work a while back but he's a middleweight not a genuine 168 lb man.

I like Mundine, he's a good cagey counterpuncher and I'd like to see him get another shot at the big time.

Oh I just checked the link and see this is for a vacant wba strap!

This is great news for Mundine then! Hopefully he can get a win here and then force either a rematch with Kessler or a fight with one of the other leading contenders.

I see a future fight with Carl Froch maybe!

What a great fight that could be, Mundine is an awkward defensive boxer so Froch's usual cobra style attacks might not work. Mundine isn't going to lunge in at him and let him get his trademark uppercuts off.

Could be a very close fight. Lets hope Mundine can get past Soliman and a matchup like that might happen.

Soliman will lose this fight coz theres no one he can spar against to prepare for mundines speed. Green used soliman and he said once he got in the ring with mundine it was obvious that there was no one he could of used to prepare for the speed of anthony. He said he was faster then he expected, coz everyone hires soliman as a sparring partner when they are fighting mundine but none of them get an easy time coz imo soliman doesnt do mundines style very well.

Snakey nailed this one...I believe Soliman should have won the first fight, but it was damn close. However there is no comparison between Mundine then and Mundine now...he has improved ten fold. Mundine will beat Soliman convincingly this time and deserves another shot at a big name. The guy is good, and only getting better with every fight...you cannot deny that. He can, and deserves to be mixing it with te best at super middle...only one concern though...his chin...

However i read that if he beats Soliman he plans on dropping down to middleweight. He'll go wherever he can get the cash.

i agree with u,mundine will whoop Solomon hands down, but i didnt agree with what u said about mundines chin ..mundine has an excellent chin,he took big shots from echolls and Kessler and some big body shots from green..and took them very well....and dont even bring up ottke ok,cause it was only mundines 10th fight and it was more anthony being exhausted and tired,he was fully contsous but just ran out of gas due to inexperience!

..ps and buy the way mundine is scheduled to rematch kessler mid 2007,and when he beats soliman he'll hold the WBA ,so there should be some great oppertunitys for him next year, maybe even a calzaghe showdown, but i doubt that will happen cause calzaghe is a ducker!
