Default What became of The Omen?

Most people here pretty much feel I dislike all British boxers. Since I dislike so many of them (Calzcrappy is a fuckin coward) I guess you can call that an accurate statement if you want. But in reality it's not really true. I always enjoyed watching Nassem Hamed fight (even though he couldn't fight). Currently Alex Aurthur is very limited but he has heart and I like watching his fight. But there was one British boxer who I was very fond of. He was a bantamweight prospect who I began tracking after his 6th fight. His name was Spencer Oliver. He use to call himself The Omen. I was very high on him. I taught he had a great future. I was saddened when his career came to an end after suffering life threatening injuries in the ring. I know he was lucky to be alive. But that's about all I know. Since I live in US there ain't no news on him. I was wondering if any of you British cats had any current information on how he's doing?

You should be able to tell how he is doing by carefully examining an old photo of him. There will be some marks which show the precise nature of his eventual death.

Here's one for you 'Violent Demise'....from my country 'Kevin Anderson',he's a Scottish welterweight prospect,18-0,he's currently the British and Commonwealth welterweight champion, pretty decent fighter,he took a beating from an English fighter called Young Muttley only to come back and K.O. him in the 8th so he's got a lot of heart. Here's a link to his record http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=184580

I'm aware of him. First time I saw him was when he barely got by Joshua Okine. A fight I taught he lost. I was not impressed by his performance that night. But he did impress me in his next fight. He knocked out a fellow prsopect who was undefeated. Carl Dickson I think his name was. The heart he showed in the Muttley fight was also impressive. I seen his last 4 fights and I think he's a limited fighter. But he's got heart and he makes good fights. cc

Spencer Oliver? Aint that the little fella with the big ears? (Other than Naz ) Yeah he was alright, got a bad beating i think and had to quit... Unfortunately, I think it was all around the same time as the Bradley Stone tragedy.

I see him on SKY (i think) some time last year... Looks bloated and old... Proper mud gut .

    Too many pints.

    Its a shame really
