Default Anyone who just saw the Litzau fight *spoilers*

I think that answers why Mayweather fights the way he does and not for the fans.

Litzau had the fight won and could have coasted, but he fought for the fans and to be exciting and just got knocked out because of it.

Thats the definition of WHY you don't fight for the fans.

"this is why fighters lay back and box when its the smart thing to do rather then try to be exciting and its the smart thing to do"

Nothing like a good upset. How much heart did that kid show.

    Litzau or the other guy?

Both of them did but Litzau's fault for deciding to try to show it.

If there is a rematch I know Litzau will win, but this is a sign to all boxing fans on why you DON'T fight for the fans when you have a fight won.

That other guy had a ridiculous chin. And Litzau needs to protect his--for real. He was wide open for that right the whole fight. He has obvious gifts, but it's hard to tell how much of that is just choosing to be entertaining and how much is just serious flaw. Given that he could still put on the same offensive show even if he were to lift that left shoulder and tuck his chin, it would seem to be the latter.
