    tyson was short for heavyweight 5 foot 11 so he had to use peek a boo style to get in against big boys and no it wouldnt work on tall fighter

    If a tall fighter adopted that approach he would be sparked out in a round.

    pacs style is the bad Ass offspring of tyson, it works for pac...but then again his a small guy but no so small in his division...so maybe there is a possible way a bigger heavy then tyson having tyson style can work...plus tyson wasn't that much smaller then other heavys in most of tysons fights...

    Floyd Patterson was a cus D'Amato trained fighter at 6'0" tall and had good success..Tyson while listed at 5' 11" is more 5' 9"ish...Jeremy Williams at 6' 1" did not have great success with the style(or maybe it was his chin?)...some things to note about any Cus D'amato (or Tyson) styled fighter;

    1) Do not throw punches moving backward, they throw punches off their lead leg.
    2) Use a frantic pace and tend to peak early in their careers ala Tyson and Patterson.
    3) Have no concept of fighting at a pace it's always all out so conditioning is paramount.

    of course some heights are more adapted to a "style" ...I doubt wlad would do well to adapt a Tyson style

    i just wonderd what peoples view was to this as im personaly 6ft 1in tall with a lean build and as im always fighting in the street i was never getting much success with lads a bit bigger,stokier,taller ect than me....i could jab and move for so long untill i got cornerd and the bigger heavier man always came out on top,now at close quarters even at 6,1 the crouch is some what affective,hooks upper cuts and all out moving forward i beleave is the most affective fighting method for any man of size and build.danny williams kinda addopted it in the first fight against audley harrison and although it was a dull fight he won it,then in the second fight audley was the one that came out all guns blazing so there is great affectivness to it.

    Why are you always fighting in the street?
