    Adamek to fight Dawson!

    Saturday, December 2 2006

    By Lukasz Dynowski

According to Tomasz Adamek's official website, the WBC light heavyweight champion will fight Chad Dawson in March 2007. It would be third title defense for the Polish fighter who won the belt on May 21st last year in a brawl against Paul Briggs. Since then, he defeated Thomas Ulrich and then Briggs for the second time. The bloody first encounter with Briggs was deemed by many fans and experts to be one of the best of the year. Will the match against the young, undefeated Dawson be another war? We'll find out for a couple of months. Rumors are that bout could land on SHOWTIME.

I like Chad Dawson, I think it's time he shows everyone what he has and this is a GREAT oppertunity

Nice good thing that the Drews fight fell through, thats one less punk!! Bad Chad gotta go through...
Adameks a rough mo' fo' Chad needs to keep him at a distance and work from the outside cause Adamek does almost all of his work on the inside. I think Chad has the gooods to do so he will out box Adamek. Not fully sure Chad has the power to KO Adamek... But I do think he will drop him..

'BAD' Chad 2007 is your year baby, taking this motha' by storm......

    Thanks for the news.....

This should be a great fight. Could possibly turn out to be another Lacy vs Calzaghe domination though, with Adamek winning. But probably not. I think Dawson is more well rounded than Lacy, if he can beat Adamek he'll be doing something, Adamek is one hell of a fighter, boy that rematch with Briggs was something, wasn't it?

I disagree,, i think Adamek should stay on the outside cause he has a hell of a jab. It is gonna be a tough fight for both with Adamek getting a SD IMO

Nice fight. Interesting choice by both guys, Adamek could have taken a total no hoper after the Briggs fight and Dawson could have been moved up a bit slower, but it makes for an interesting fight.

Winner goes against Briggs? Adamek is a freak. He cops a pounding, but keeps outboxing his opponent. Briggs hurt him badly BUT Adamek still kept boxing and got the decision each time. Adamek i think would win this fairly convincingly. It would be good to see. And now Briggs has had more time with Johnny Lewis, i think he will be ready for Adamek again in another war

Dawson probably wins. Adamek didn't look that good against Briggs

    Default Adamek vs. Dawson

Haven't heard this one discussed much lately, but it's this weekend.

    I'm going with Adamek UD
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

I went with Adamek on points. Judges intimidate me and it's rare that I can bring myself to go with a UD. Adamek can take a beating and I'm not a Chad Dawson supporter. Sadly, I'm not confident enough to place a bet in the sports book.

Dawson should be able to take this, but it's gonna be a long night.
Anyone who doesn't know about Adamek watch Adamek vs. Briggs 2
a nice little war they had going.

Here are my thoughts on the fight
    2007 baby.... 'Bad' Chads year....

Not counting B-Hop, Adamek is the toughest mo' fo' @ Light Heavy. right now....
He rugged and is gonna try and bully Chad in that ring..... Hes more experienced then Dawson.... And like I said if he has to trade Adamek ain't afraid to do so...

Dawsons young ain't been in any type of war like Adamek.... But I do like that Dawsons visited the canvas and shooken things off came back in that same round to even things out and eventually win the fight... He has skills and is very patient in the ring at times too patient (Like Abraham) they wait around for the opponent to fire off first then they throw their punches... He needs to stop that and predict his own fight make Adamek follow his lead as Adamek is not a counter puncher...
If Dawson can keep Adamek off, of him and not let Adamek get inside hes gonna be OK, he needs to keep Adamek in distance and punch from range. IMO, Adamek does his best work inside Dawson is not in any way an inside fighter...

Should be a goodie to watch.... Thanks 'Showtime' and good luck to Chavez on his return...
