What a fight had vs. Courtney Burton. Neither fighters were the same after that. One of the most punishing fights ive seen

I hope all the Contender team pool their money together and buy him a nice little banjo as a retirement gift.
Great child actor was Ebo.

CC bilbo !
I think Ebo's earings made him go up a weight division....
It's the best thing for him. Ebo never did have that mark of greatness. I don't think he would of ever been a champion
Good luck to him, I always liked Ebo. His loss in the contender was a real shame as thats the only thing a lot of people would of seen of him and hes a much better fighter than most of those guys, just too small for them. Oh well, he seems happy and hes getting out while hes still quite young and healthy.
Are you serious? Anyone who isn't going to be the greatest of all time should hang them up? Ebo is a quality fighter with a lot of heart. He put on some great fights. Guys like him are what make boxing great. He has a great attitude, he comes in shape, fights hard. What's not to like?Originally Posted by Violent Demise
Also he held a couple of lower level titles. I support his decision to quit before he is washed up, but not because he wasn't gonna be good enough. You can't have great fighters if you don't have a bunch of good fighters for them to get past.

I've followed Ebo from his early ESPN 2 fights. I remember his early interviews. He was not in boxing to just be good enough and be a quality fighter. He was in boxing to be champion and become a great fighter. It was obvious that wasn't going to happen. He deserves credit for not lying to himself and instead accepting what he was. It wasn't what he wanted to be. So he retired. Smart boy.Originally Posted by luvfightgame
