I have had that happen a few times to me. It seems like it happens whenever I really start to take the fight over and am getting close to a KO then all of a sudden the other fighter will land a couple blows in succession and they stop the fight. Always pisses me off.

Other than a little trickle of blood on the nose I've never been cut. My only loss came from some guy who was faster and stronger with more agility and stamina. Which is no big deal because there's a 50/50 chance any guy I fight is better on paper. I was killing him through the first 3 rounds, but he was working me, patient, putting more and more in the bank as he worked my body until the 4th when he knocked me down. He stuck to his game plan until he KO'd me in the 5th.

On the flip side I signed a contract against a guy who was too much for me. I completely reversed everything about my fighter. I turned his style to wild and made his specialty uppercuts. I murdered that guy in 3. He was a lot faster and much stronger but I pounded him every time I parried with uppercuts. After I beat him I forgot to switch my style back and I almost lost to a relative bum because I couldn't fight him the way I wanted.
