Lewis/Tyson or Dela Hoya/PBFI really couldn't tell ya, But I do wish the Prime Heavy Roy Jones Jr would have fought Lewis.

Tyson vs Lewis just wish both fighters had been in there primes
Deffo Lewis Tyson.
Props to PBF - ODLH for getting huge recognition not being a HW fight though.
Maybe the more significant fight as far as shaping the sport and both men being closer to their primes than Lewis-Tyson. But no question Lewis - Tyson was the biggest event of modern times.
Everyone was saying that Oscar- Hopkins was guna be one of the biggest fights ever but after the fight it was all forgotten about cuz it was such a poor spectacle . This will be the same cuz Floyd will think safety first . Oscar will be too ring rusty to close the gap and both men will settle . Dont be surprised if we hear boos and the crowd start to walk out in the later rounds .
The best bit about this fight is this bit . . the build up and hype . The fight itself has massive potential to be a letdown . Tito - Oscar was a bore thanks to Oscar and has Floyd ever been entertaining in his entire career ?
On a world scale it has to be Tyson Lewis. I know Floyd is going around saying his fight with Oscar is the biggest fight ever but he's suffering delusions of granduer again.
Here in the UK at least I could say with 100% certainty that probably less that 5% of the British population are even aware it's occurring at all and less than 1% actually give a tuppeny fuck about it.
Floyd just isn't a big name star. Certain athletes transcend their sports Michael Schumcacker, Tiger Woods, Peter Sampras, Freddie Flintoff, David Beckham etc are all examples of stars who even non sports fans will have heard of.
Mayweather ain't even close to that level of fame. In the UK Alfonso Gomez is more recognised and I'm being totally serious when I say that.
I think this fight is a big fight, probably the biggest since Tyson Lewis but it's not any bigger in any way shape or form.

Floyd isn't a big name star in the UK but De La Hoya is, anyway in the US they are huge and that's all that matters. To be honest I doubt either one of them cares what the Brits think of them.Originally Posted by Bilbo
If its not bigger its right up there with the Tyson Lewis fight...as for Floyd not being a big name over in the UK...other than Beckham nobody over there is really recognized over here outside of there sport.
IMO, as far as popularity I think their on par with eachother.
As far as numbers well we all know ODLH is the man at that after May 5th you'll see the numbers and that'll tell the tale.
