hey guys i need a little help, any of you guys know some stuff about steroids use in sports. I'm working on an essay about steroids in sports, and I'm looking for a reliable website that has real knowledge of the issue.

Any names of a person with knowledge i can look up or a website, or if any of you personally have knowledge of the issue let me know.

ooh isn't it great how boxing is one of the few that test for the use of steroids and actually does something about it, like if a fighter that just won a title but test positive for performance enhancing drugs they get strip of the title.

and yet people still watch baseball......it just baffles me.....Don't know of any sites..but it can't be that hard to find them.....good luck in your search.....

Good luck with the Essay mate, google is your friend for this one I think. Look out for 'The man who's arm exploded' on youtube aswell, it has Arnie's trainer on it talking about the effects of the drug and a guy with the most fucked up arms you will ever see. He talks plenty in it aswell so you might pick up a few important facts.

He said his essay was on steroid use in SPORTS though... I know the guy your talking about actually, Greg Valentino I believe He was some bodybuilder who had the largest bicep measurements in the world... In reality, people like him couldn't be further from the world of sport, steroid use in competitive sports is obviously much different and less dangerous in the short term at least... Developing 30 inch biceps is not an edge in athletic performance, that's for damn sure...

this is the main problem with it today and this may help out your essay. Just about all professional sports test for your standard steroids. These can be detected because these have foolproof tests to show usage. A lot of people today use HGH. There is no definitive test for hgh and the benefits of it are much better than basic steroids.
