I noticed something last Saturday as I watched as Oscar failed to hit Floyd flush time and time again. It takes one thing to be able to have HALF a chance against Floyd. I used to think it was the come forward style of Hatton, but after watching the first Castillo and then how he adapted to it in the rematch I can't see it working. So we have to ask ourselves who handled Floyd the best? You could say Oscar on account of the defense he used to deflect many of those shots that came his way, how close the fight was compared to Foyd's other outtings, and how he kept his head in the game and didn't really lose composure until the last couple of rounds but in my humble opinion I don't see it that way. IMO, noone handled Floyd better than Zab did for the first few rounds, simply cause he could match his speed. As we all know Judah likes to lose his cool and do a Judah shuffle every now and then, but for those first few rounds he layed out the real blue print to beat Floyd, which is to match his speed and match it all night long (easier said than done considering most fighters just don't have Floyd's stamina). This being said, I see SSM having the best chance or even a rematch with Judah (although he probably wouldn't keep it together mentally), and it still probably wouldn't be enough. Maybe to see Mayweather lose we'd have to go back in time and find gents such as Hearns, Ray Leonard, maybe even the likes of Terry Norris. All this being said, the defensive mastery Floyd has is unworldly IMO and even as unworldly as it is, it didn't stop Judah from being competitive due to his physical abilities.

So now we know, no matter HOW good you are, if you don't match Floyd's speed you simply don't get the shots off to win. Enjoyed the fight very much, and hope Floyd reconsiders his retirement and finds his way in the ring with Sugar Shane.
