Default Floyd:the rematch will be toe to toe (LMFAO)

WBC junior middleweight champ Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is already talking up a rematch with Oscar De La Hoya. In a recent interview with the Associated Press , Mayweather said a rematch with Oscar would be even better than the original because they can fight toe-to-toe.

Bouts with names like Shane Mosley, Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito have been thrown around. Mayweather is not interested in any fight, other than a De La Hoya rematch.

I called a rematch when the fight was FIRST announced, there is just too much $$$ to be made and it looks like it'll happen...

If Floyd had put on a clinic there would be no need for a rematch. But De La Hoya fought a great fight & although I thought Floyd won 115 - 114 (would have been happy with a draw) there are enough questions to warrant a rematch.

Floyd seems to give the fans what they want. When his 1st fight with Castillo called for a rematch he granted it. I see him making one here too. If Floyd leaves without giving Oscar another shot it will affect his legacy. Sorta like Lewis/ V. Klitschko. There were enough questions still left floating after that one. (I think Lewis woulda cleaned him up though if the fight continued)

lol floyd is trying to get the public wanting a rematch even more than some already do, what would happen is floyd would walk in knowing what de la hoya would do and school him pretty bad.

ODLH will win, that way they can have a rubber match called "we make more money in three fights, than most third world countries gross national product"

I knew this was going to happen also. Well atleast Floyd wants to give the fans what they want to see. I mean some people have doubt that he won and he wants to squash that, plus like everyone else said he wouldn't even come close to making as much money fighting someone other that De La Hoya. It really is all about the money.

A second fight would have PBF winning by a wider margin. I really didnt think there was any controversy about the decision in the first fight. There was some close rounds that could have gone either way. But it wasnt like ODLH dominated PBF or anything. It was a great fight that was close, but I felt Floyd won it with no problems.

For what it's worth, there's an article in the NY Post today, where Floyd says the guys who could bring him out of retirement are Tito, Winky, and Cotto.

Yeah Mosley turning down the Floyd fight has really stuck with Floyd. The thought of Cotto - Floyd is...well yeah...THAT would be the fight for boxing fans and if Cotto can garner Tito like popularity, that would just be huge.
