brock was exposed in the wlad fight if you ask me.
a ko against Zuri Lawrence is the most "impressive" win on brocks career. He proved to be a great opponent for up and comers, but not against someone with power, and premier boxing skills.
if he continues to go against the McCLines and Ibragimov's of the HWD then he will continue to win. But as soon as he steps in with someone who will Box, he is shown to be average.
My buddy at the gym ( http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=126291 ) did some sparring with Brock before this fight. He said everything was going well and all but I guess it's just the southpaw jinx.....tougher for some guys to fight southpaws, I like fighting them
brock is a favorite of mines
against wk he look nervous
he was doing good but right came hard
but this is his second win now but
would he do good in cruiserweight
I was disapointed his fight wasnt shown on the telecast but later that night read this & I guess I didnt miss much.
I think in the weak division Brock still can make some noise.
Yea he could still fight Shannon Briggs.Originally Posted by Erikk

Even Zuri Lawrence was fairing well against him till he got KOd. Brock doesnt impress me.

Zuri Lawrence that beat up McCline bad. And McCline that Vitali wants as his comeback fight. I dont know what should not impress me moreOriginally Posted by BoomBoom
Calvin is very average but hell look back across the ages and you'll see average fighters fare very well in the heavyweight division.
Here are a couple: Jerry Quarry, James Braddock, Eddie Machen, Joe Bunger, Greg Page
Those guys weren't flashy or anything they just went out and got the job done, some days they looked better than others but they held their own with the big boys
well not sultan ibragimov i think sultan would kick his ass timor is another storyOriginally Posted by Big_Deuce
....I don't think Sultan would "kick his ass"....Brock would put up more of a challenge than Briggs and let's not forget Sultan got a draw with RAY AUSTIN
Well in all fairness Zuri aint a bad boxer, definately not a world beater but hes like a C class fighter..... Hard to believe he has zero KOs thoughOriginally Posted by Majesty
