ala Tyson, Ali blah MMA's short stint of popularity is over watching the small guys is great but nothing is as nice as the good heavies.

Povetkin is very good
These guys are the future
Eddie Chambers - like James Toney but WITH OFFENSE!
Chazz Witherspoon - yes THAT Witherspoon family, he's pretty good so far, maybe we would like some more power.
Chris Arreola - haven't seen him fight yet but he seems to be good 26 years old, 20-0-0
Travis Walker - 27 years old and 23-0-1
JD Chapman - 24 years old and 26 (23 KO)-0-0
Devin Vargas - 11(5 KO)-0-0 he's young too 25
Arreola is exciting. Non-stop, relentless, and works the body good. Watched him and Chambers on the same card.Originally Posted by Lyle

I agree, but without power, he needs to trim up a little to be even slicker when he steps up to the big guys.Originally Posted by Lyle

I think the Eastern European boxers are bringing more technical skill to the ring and at this point in time I think the heavyweights need some good solid technical ability.
The savage beatings that once were the heavyweight division will come back, it's just going to take some different styles getting together.
The smaller guys make it more fun too as they throw more punches
Povetkin and Arreola will hold titles in the next couple of years imo. Both seem to be the complete package but well know for sure when they start fighting at the net level. Also Matt Godfrey could eventually be a huge threat to the heavyweights when he moves up. Look out for him.
