Some clever k*nt has looked at flight times etc and there is no way Becks can play in our vital Euro Qualifiers later in the year and play in LA.
Physically impossible to fly across the pond and do both, as matches for both are too close together to allow him to fly and be here or there in good time.

I think Beckham was awesome last night for Real crossing with either foot, control and showing for the ball all there hios confidence was high and he looked fresh and sharp .

Beckham has been great for for Real they'd be nowhere near the title without him. Its pretty pointless to bring him back though he deserves it but its another cop out by McCunt really, the only thing separating him from Sven was that he dropped Becks its the only brave decision hes made! Becks, Gerrard and Lampard in the same team just doesn't work they all want the ball and they all want it in the centre, its obvious Cole will play left so we'll just have the same narrow predictable England midfield as under Sven. We might even play 4-5-1 for Hargreaves with a half fit Owen up front of his own.

I just want an England manager with some balls who realises the best 11 english players arn't always the best team. Either Gerrard or Lampard should be dropped Barry should play left (who despite being one of the best players for England B and setting up a goal is fucking dropped again) Lennon if hes ever fucking fit should play right (if not Joe Cole) and Gerrard should play in the middle with Carrick. Its not rocket science English players are too fucking stupid to play anything other than 442.

Lyle, England are in danger of not qualifying for a major tournament. That is a national disaster of catastrophic proportions. American soccer may have more riding on that but I am pretty sure even Beckham with all money on offer in USA will put the English national team first.

For probably first time since I been following football England - ON PAPER , AND IF EVERYONES FIT ! - have one of if not THE best team in the world. Unfortunately the lazy arse multi millionaire footballers these days think they're bigger than the national team and can just turn up to play. They don't give a shit how they play and the passion of playing for your country seems non-existent

I understand about England's national team, I feel the same way about the US national team, but I really want soccer to take off here in the US because without a solid pro league here we can't develop players and more importantly we can't develop a fan base.

I'm willing to risk England losing so that the MLS can succede lol....

I really think Beckham should have been in a group of players coming to the MLS to play. Blanco is going to come play for Chicago, I had heard Zidane was going to play for the MLS but haven't heard anything about that yet...I do like the young American players that are coming up though.

Freddy Adu (17) and Jozy Altidore (17) are AWESOME and I like that they are getting good professional experience, but they don't draw the people in like Becks can

Quahmotec Blanco, is a striker from Mexico (pronounced Meh-he-co)....he's a pretty decent player.

Red Bull New York (the NY team)....New England Revolution is the New England team (obviously)

There are extremely talented players in the MLS but the team play is HORRIBLE to watch, especially after watching the EPL

Too many big Ego's in the England dressing room to ever let McClaren be the boss ! He just has no chance except to let the big players lead from the front !

Gerrard and Terry i believe are the key building blocks when the chips are down and you need some real fighters to come to the fore these are the boys who will stand tall .

Unfortunately England as a Rule don't normally play their best football unless their backs are against the wall .

Not all these were glorius wins but they were times when we needed a result and went out and got it by taking the the game to the other side and not sitting back .........Portugal was backs against the walls clairty of vision waiting for the breakaway stuff but they never looked even close to breaking us down .


I think all sides need a few years together and they certainly need to feel a bit of adversity to become truly great sides , you cant just throw individuals who play for totally different clubs with completely different styles of play and just ask them to gel 6-7 times a year it cant happen like that .

It will cost the British economy over £100 million if England dont qualify, i cant see it to be honest, we still have to go to Russia and Croatia are flying i think best we can hope for is a play off.

The only reason I worry is because Beckham can really help the MLS's popularity and if he gets hurt playing for England we may have no more MLS
