    Default Williams vs. Margarito presser! alright.. all fans welcome in!!

    Full Article(Pics Included) is listed at http://www.fightnews.com/rocco08.htm

    In taking the podium, the challenger, Williams seemed supremely confident of victory. "The truth never changes", Williams said in cutting Margarito and hurting him to the body. "I'm real anxious for the fight and this is my time to shine" Williams said.

    "I'm going all in for this fight and not leaving nothing to the judges" said Williams. "I am going to mop the floor with Margarito." "I am bringing it to him full blast."

    When asked to remove his sunglasses for photos, Williams happily obliged the photographers and said "These are the eyes of a winner" before confidently walking off the podium.

    In taking the podium, the champion Margarito said "I don't understand what Paul Williams is talking about" in talking about the cut. "He said he cut me, he knocked me down in sparring, all lies."

    Margarito continued "He's not the first to say that he is going to take my title away and nobody has done it yet." "I am going to defend this title for my fans" said Margarito.

    "On July 14th, the lies will be exposed and then we will hear another fighter with an excuse" said Margarito to conclude the press conference.

    Cant wait for this fight. One of these guys could go on to dominate 147, and if Williams wins he has the height and reach to go up in divisiobs and challenge.

    This is gonna be a great fight, I think Margarito will be seasoned for Williams. If Williams makes it to the final bell I'll be impressed!

    I fancy Margorito to knock Williams out, Williams was taking to many shots from a small shot Shmabra Mitchell, so i cant see how Margorito is going to have trouble connecting, TKO 7 Margorito.

    By the way anyone know the betting for this fight??

    Margarito will stalk and dig in crisp body shots, similar to what Temible will put on the Hitman.

    The odds are pretty tight on this one right now.

    Margarito = -163 (8/13)
    Williams = +150 (3/2)

    Default Margarito-Williams....where's this on the board?

    I thought people were wetting themselves waiting for this fight to happen and no one has said ANYTHING about it....this should be good boxing and good FOR boxing.

    Williams. And I know. Hopefully after Judah - Cotto it picks up because to this point I feel the only people who have talked about it at all are me and Gamo.

    I hope this is like Gatti-Ward on steroids! Williams has a chin so does Tony and I think it has everything in it to be fight of the year

    I remember your comments on this one, but no real hype Wack. And I need hype

    Meanwhile, Gamo has brought this up a bunch of times and I've fired back at his pro Margarito sentiment. Your right though, this is a great fight. I flipflopped A LOT on two fights this year, Pavlik - Miranda and Williams - Margarito. I think this could be something special.

    HUGE ups to Margaito for taking this one.

    I'm going with Williams on this one, under normal circumstances at this point it would be Margarito, however, Margarito has had some severe injuries recently and has been too inactive IMO. Should be an entertaining fight, lots of leather thrown. I think though that Williams stamina is the key to this fight.
