THe best Tua comes in the face Frazier, who wins?
THe best Tua comes in the face Frazier, who wins?
It is an odd fight. Frazier was a better fighter all around and came to win more. If you put in Tua against Frazier and didn't tell Frazier he punched hard then Frazier would lose in the first round, but an in shape Frazier who is the same size then Frazier. Problem is Frazier must have been about 204 or so at the time he was champ. Either way Frazier if he is the same size.
frazier whoopes tua's ass, hands down. we all know tua's devense is shite and frazier is a champion, what the fuk has tua ever done? nothing!
tua is mediocre at best! frazier is world class champion! nuf said

Joe was something special. great fighter.
I think the up and down head movement of Frazier would have given any power puncher of any era who held their power in their hooks serious trouble. It took straight punchers from the outside like Foreman and Ali to beat him.
Tua would hold the size advantage but I'm not sure it matters. Frazier was a beast and a bully and I think he would have what it took to crack Tua. Frazier was real good defensively, remember in that first fight with Ali he was slipping Ali's punches absolutely beautifully all night long.
I would give it to Frazier but a matchup of similar styles and such power, anything could happen.
honestly it shouldnt even be up for debate
tua is a world class bum
and frazier was a world class champion.....nuff said move on
frazier would kill fat boy with no head movement tua.
ps....im drunk![]()

Tua comes in the face of Frazier thats abit harsh is'nt it ha ha ha ha ha hai think size and power difference would bring Tua out the winner.
If joe fought Tua in the condition he was in, in the first fight against ALI, Frazier to win by KO, in his later years by TKO,Joe allways gave 100%, in the first ALI fight it was [smoking] Joes night, [smoking]and he could have beat any fighter that night,Tua would have crumbled under the pressure, and that left hook that put ALI down and broke his jaw, would KO TUA,

I beleive it's obvious
Frazier wins hands down.
Either ko or tko
Joe would have the Tua Man huffing anf puffing by the third round.....
Frazier is a LEGEND!!!!!!!....and he didn't get that way from just one good fight...the man reigned as HW champion in the greatest era of HWt's ever.....Tua is just another name on the list if they faced off

Mediocre at bestOriginally Posted by Troy McClure
he gave one of the best hws of 90s his toughest fight some thought he derserved decision aka Ike Tua also made Lewis go into a defensive shell after he had took Tuas bombs Tua is not that great when someone fights on outside but on inside he is great and far from mediocre just because he never won title doesn't mean he isn't good Jimmy Young or Herol Graham never won a title either doesn't mean that wern't good.
Joe by Ud.
That is true, usually when a good fighter like Herol Graham does not win a title it is because there is a good champion who held the title there a long time.
an in shape motivated Tua was a real good fighter..we just didn't see him much...I think he has an ATG chin and power...think about how many times he turned a losing fight around with one punch....that being said he isn't in the same league as Frazier, but Joe is an inside fighter...If they fought 10 times I think Tua could connect 3 times and turn out the lights....The other seven Joe wins, but not with a KO, maybe a corner stoppage though

problem is that Joe would be putting pressure on Tua which Tua is unaccustomed to from a short heavyweight. Lennox put Tua into a shell and even though Tua lasted 12 rounds, he pretty much was there to survive. Tua has incredible power, but he has not taken advantage of certain times to get fights made and win a championship. I think he should be more out in the open. There is a lack of confidence in him or his handlers.Originally Posted by VanChilds
I agree I think Tua could have had a much more meaningful career
