    I think someone may have touched on this a few months back after all the Michael Vick stuff started, but here's an article showing how Gerald McClellan was really an aweful person:

    I totally agree it is about teh culture you grow up in. I have dogs that I pride in being the roughest and toughest.....and I have killed several dogs that weren't good hunters. but the ones you love, you love. Its hard to explain.

    I heard he loved that dog so much (duece) that the LA county sherrifs dept were gonna have him charged because he was caught by a couple of officers up to his nuts in Deuces guts one night.

    The case was dropped though
