i had an off day like that once where i just couldnt get my shots off like i usually do so i just laid up on the ropes and talked shit through my guard until the dudes got tired and mad and it evened things out a bit...i think we are all entitled to a sloppy day from time to time.

I get that here and there..

I remember the last time i felt off in training.. Plus i can only get two nights sparring maximum so i never pass up on sparring no matter how i feel..

I remember feeling bloated and kinda sick.. I just boxed and moved and prayed not to be hit with a body shot..

I told my man craig..Yo..Im fucked if i get hit to the body..

And what do you know.. Hit to the body and had to take a knee..Lol

I get this from time to time when I over train, My problem is I never rest so sometimes I just feel tired and drained when I spar but I just see it as a good challenge cause one day when you are in a really hard fight and you have to dig deep to pull out the win you know that you have been there before. I felt like it last week, every shot that I would usually block & counter seemed to catch me either full in the nose or the mouth and I was getting really frastrated. I just make sure that the next sparring session I give the guy a good wooping to remind him that I aint no chump!!
It happens to us all at some point!!

I wouldn't sweat it. Those days just happen. I've had it happen in sparring and mitt work already. Back in my track days I'd have those days too. I was a high jumper and some days I would crash right through the bar instead of clearing over it. I remember having a day that was so bad, my coach told me, "Oh just go home! You're not accomplishing anything here."
