You guys are being too harsh. He beat the man at lightweight in Castillo, probably the man at superfeather at that time in Coralles, he beat the man at 154 in Oscar, and beat the last two linear champs at welterweight in Baldimor and Judah.

Now he's going to fight the man at 140, albiet at 147 but that doesn't favour Floyd any more than it does Ricky seeing as Floyd is probably still only a natural lightweight himself.

I kind of agree and disagree. I criticized Floyd for awhile but now he'll have fought Judah, Baldo, ODLH and Hatton in his last four fights. That's pretty good, its not exactly the four guys I'd pick as a fan, but its pretty good no matter who you are. And Hatton's still a good fighter so I'm not gonna get too upset.

But I did find it funny that Floyd wanted this fight because Hatton talked shit about him Come the fuck on now, like that's ever made a difference in who he picks for an opponent.

so basically I do think floyd is maybe cherry picking (I guess that's the word) at least a little bit by fighting Hatton, but then again its not like he's fighting Henry Bruseles so I find it hard to be outraged about a PBF-Hatton fight. Its still a good fight although a better one if it was at 140. So I'm not gonna criticize him for it much, its still a big fight.

Yes hatton looked shit at collazo, and yeah he went back down to Lw, but this time hes going to have a lot of time to prepare, built his weight up naturaly rather than pile it on last minute to fave a much taller, faster fighter.. They underestimated Collazo, and while i still think mayweather will whoop hatton, they still have a chance now ot make thier weight the way the want to, train for the guy with plenty of time, bring i sparring partners to asses their plan...
