Default Why are American boxers allowed to hold?

    - and why do they bring their own ref when fighting in the EU?

Why on earth is Jeff Lacy allowed to hold so much against Calzaghe when he was almost down? American Ref!

Why on earth did Nady allowed Rahman to recover against Oleg and even hold his F****** leg so much? American Ref!

yes, nothing makes for a snoozefest more than holding. Is there any reason it can't be treated like a low blow? Maybe 2 warnings then a point deducted?

HAHA - yeah Jeff holding on in the 12th was really the difference in that fight. What a boring fighter Lacy is anyways. It's a good thing Mikkel Kessler is carved of solid gold and turns water into wine otherwise I don't know how I could get over these American boxers holding.

Why is it you have no knowledge about boxing?

Why is it every post you make has to do with America and American boxers?

Did you lose your life savings when an American fighter beat one of your favorites?

Did you wife leave you afterwards because she found out you are not only a degenerate gambler but wear womens under garments?

    Are you really Julius Francis?

Because there is a huge conspiracy going on, the U.S government has paid off all boxing officials to make it seem America is the best. We refuse to give other fighters coverage because they will no doubt become more popular than our own fighters over here. Everyone knows that Americans are all obese and watch 10 hours of TV each day. This is just propaganda to take the spotlight off the real problem: The War in Iraq...this whole boxing explosion of 2007 is just to keep us not talking about the war. Good work on seeing the truth Peter PLys 44. <----what the hell is this thing

Calzaghe always holds with his right hand and punches with his left.
Hatton would be the picture next to the word 'Hold' in the English dictionary if it were a picture dictionary.

Neither of those boxers are American.
