Default Johanneson-Gomez set for October 19th

Gomez might be shot-to-shit and Johanneson is coming off the terrible beating - but this is will be good.

I havily favour Johanneson, is this at Super Featherweight?? Gomez is just a fruit loop and i feel when the tough gets going in there Gomez will get going.

    Good scrap though.

    It's at super-featherweight for Carl's Brit title.

Not sure why Arthur was calling for Gomez before his last fight.. if he really wanted revenge he should of tried it a few years back.

Perhaps Alex just wanted a pay day, Gomez/Arthur would sell seats, it would make both a few quid and it would make Arthur look good.

Thanks Skel, and ur dead right ther, for what he has achieved he should get a lot more recognition and for his potential he should get a lot more advertisement.
He's a marketable fella too which is why i am confused that he has not done as Enzo has and strapped onto the backs of superstar rockets Calzaghe or Hatton as Enzo Mac, Kahn n Matty Hatton have.

Hence the suggestion piggybacking on a big name before becoming a draw himself.

Who's he gonna piggyback on though? The only "name" fighter from Scotland in recent times is Scott Harrison.

Enzo has the Welsh connection with Calzaghe...Hatton was supported by all the Manc lads - Fanell, Gomez etc

Arthur was being groomed for stardom before Gomez battered him.

He has re built tho. He doesn't necessarily have to join forces with a Scottish Fighter, he could do welltravelling to Ireland or even do a deal with Witters people.

You no what i dont even no why im talking about a subject as abstract as this. We could come up with an ingenious plan here, but he'll never follow it

What has Gomez done recently to justify fighting for a title, did he win his last fight? He should get beat but if he does not then Arthur should finish him off.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Yeah i think he won his last fight, convincingly too. But he's at a stage of his career where he's kinda like a liability to boxings credability. Like Mike Tyson, when a guy goes into the Ring and ANYTHING might happen u really don't need that aired as the best of boxing.

If Gomez starts fast i can see Johanneson getting ko'ed again in the first 2rounds.All depends which Gomez turns up.

There is some good domestic scraps for Johanneson but he needs to rebuild his confidence and a win against Gomez would get him back on track again but its a tricky fight for him.
