Its not just you man, I've been feeling the sane way lately about the MAB/PAC situation. The thing is, its not like they really need the hype. They're two sure fire HoF'ers and barring MAB becoming shot overnight it should be a great fight.
I don't think JT's been that disrespectful of Pavlik to be honest. I don't like JT and I hope Pavlik beats him, but I think he wins this one.

yeah man. im tired of the hype. thats why i stopped replying to the posts. im a big pacman fan but i dont think all this drama here is gonna make any difference. whoever wins or loses, this will be an all out war and will be an exciting, worth your money fight. about jt and pavlik. i dunno but taylor, IMO, is just over rated. manny steward is supposed to help him get better but manny is a trainer who imposes counterpunching and i dont see that as JT's strong suit. he should be like freddy roach that lets his fighters do what they do best while improving the other parts of their game plan.

I hear ya on the Pac/Barrera thing as well, but I'm just as sick of Pavlik running off at the mouth when he's never been in the ring with anyone near the level of comp. JT has faced. In my eyes JT has been so humble and complacent it's about time he gets pissed. Especially with someone who beat a hyped prospect saying they're gonna beat 'em so bad he won't want a rematch.

This is a fight that does not need to be hyped. It is bound to be explosive, it sells itself.

Thats why i too have become a little irratated by this hype, The two guys are straight up no nosense warriors, why complicate a classic fight with all this hype and controversy?

no it's because they have turned an awesome fight into a crappy soap opera, i mean the fight is going to be a war, and the fight is the last thing they're talking about, gloves, hand wraps, knocked out in sparring, roach running his mouth off, barrera counter attacking roach, the standard "distractions" in manny's training camp and delay to come back to the US, seriously it's annoying and bullshit that we don't really need to hear about
