Default Dec 8th is a Bonus night For Me All The Way Around

My favorite 2 active fighters have matchups, while most people would think that Floyd Mayweather jr is my favorite fighter. The truth is he is my 2nd favorite fighter, my favorite fighter indeed is Jeff "left hook" Lacy and I look forward to seeing him back in the ring after a year layoff with a serious injury.

So to me Hatton and Mayweather is an early Christmas present, but Lacy on the undercard makes this a special night for me all the way around. So after Jeff sets the table with a spectacular TKO over Manfredo I'll be already fired up when Mayweather takes the ring against Hatton

No way dude never giving up on Lacy

Lacy has the heart and courage of a lion, chin of concrete and desire to be something special, he will be back and an important piece in the division soon enough

he was boxing beautifully against Tyspko landing nice 1-2's behind the jab which is kinda a different dimension since Jeff is more of a hook type fighter, then he got injured round 2, then it was all about survival. That has to be scary knowing your operating at only 50% with 8 rounds to go. Most would have packed it in like Vitali Klitschko. Jeff has power in both hands so even if his lefy hook is tentative he still has plenty thunder in the right

I"m not totally sold on the whole lacy is done thing either, at the same time i also like manfredo as well so both fights have me kinda split. Not so much on who i think is gonna win but who'd i'd like to win. If held down to a choice i'd take lacy and floyd that night. I think this is a huge chance for lacy to prove a ton to a lot of people. I wish both guys and thier fans luck..especially hatton and his fans cause i really think they're gonna need it.

I'd like Lacy to come back and show some good form. If anything just to shut-up some of the turncoats that rubbished him since the Calzaghe fight.

I still think he'd beat plenty of supermiddles that are now rated above him. As long as he's not mentally finished.

If he loses to Manfredo then he's defintely "gone."

Do you give Manfredo a chance? I don't think he's a pushover but Lacy is surely a big fav?

I guess everyone has a chance in a fight, but I'll tell you the tyspko fight scared me to death and I thought it was a bad fight to take after Calzaghe because Jeff had a hard time with his style a few years earlier. I just dont see what Manferdo does extradoniry to give Jeff problems. Jeff before Calzaghe was on a whole other level that Manfredo was never on

I'm really looking forward to main event but oddly enough I have my sights set on the PDL fight vs. Escobedo.
Matchups like this one always intregue me as the "unkwons" (if you will) tend to surprise us and give the more recognizable name a tough fight sometimes upsetting the favorite.
I've read and seen about Escodebo quick on his feet and likes to move around. He has shown signs that hes not afraid to stand there and trade which I don't think will be a good idea doing that with PDL but again who knows.

The Lacy vs. Peter, I'm guessing really hasn't hit me yet maybe on that night I'll get more into it.

That's why I said Lacy is "gone" if Manfredo beats him. Before Calzaghe Lacy would have been a HUGE favourite over Manfredo.

If he loses surely it will show how far he's regressed. Calzaghe really did ruin him. At the moment there's still a chance he can get his career back on track. I'd expect him to look good against Manfredo.

Well I know I'll be rooting for Lacy, and hope he gets Manfredo gone. I probably won't even be paying much attention as Hatton/Mayweather will be seriously weighing on my mind.

Lacy loses to Manfredo than he's a journeyman. I guess Lacy is a journeyman. I think the shoulder injury has robbed Lacy of his power. He's done.
