Qi'ad Muhammad... Something Special!!!

I would just like to get this kids name out there as he was very impressive on Friday night at Foxwoods in his debut.

Qi'ad is 18 years old and just a hair over 5 ft.

He had fantastic upperbody movement and shows great maturity in his shoulder roll. He had his opponant, Mario Gaxiola, down in the first, second and 4th round.

He showed he was almost impossible to hit with regularity. One of my favorite things was how accurate he was with his hip jab. His speed was terrific.

The best part of his fourth round swing bout was at 2:59... YES, one second left... He was able to Brutally KO Gaxiola with a monsterous right hook. It was one of the most brutal KOs I have seen in a long time. Kinda like the vivian harris KO where he laid on the mat with both eyes open staring... Totally out.

The kid is gonna be something special!

Anyone special in his corner? or Just a local guy...IMO it's great to see a guy fresh out who utilizes his jab to set everything up and throws it consistently...Shows he does his work in the gym

No, just a guy they brought in from Atlantic City for a swing bout. Yeah, sadly he mad Gaxiola look silly. He did work his jab but not quite as much as I would have liked to see. The kid had pop in both hands though. I cant wait to see where he goes.
