Default mayweather is a great,-but not the greatest!

2me ali is the greatest---because he beat the best quality of 60's and 70's and was never even had a prime. if he had a prime....damn. mayweather has proven he is 1 of the greats---nobody is gonna beat him. but if he mixed it up with SRR--SRR would b the last man standing. hell SRL could take him. where u place him -iz your biz.

This is a pointles debate in terms of competition, athleticism, and champion qualities Ali is second to none, and I think he did more than Robinson, but Robinson fought more fights, and people who have only seen him at MW where he so obviously isn't the greatest by that point still think he is better than everyone else almost blindly, he is definitely up there, but he wouldn't have beaten a guy like RJJ p4p or Ali IMO.

We wont know with Floyd until he's officially done
It looked like Tito was going to be,until Bernard caught him
It looked like Hearns was going to be
Lets let his career run its course before we judge it
Just like Joe is losing a little prestige because it looks like Lacy might be BS,maybe Mayweather loses some if Hatton turns out to be a one trick pony.
Its like saying you can only judge Ali on Chavalllo
You dont know until its over

Thanks,a career has to run its course before you can judge it
Big George would be a blip on the radar without that improbable comeback
Very rarely can you say,"Oh he;s an all timer" for a guy still fighting
Jones,Hopkins,Im leaning that way towards Mayweather,if Joe puts one more big name under his belt Calzeghe, but normally you have to wait until the dust has settled
Honestly,Id prefer this fight didnt happen, its nothing but money for Bernard, and even if Joe wins, its an old guy
Why its going to happen,is who's left for either of them, theyve beaten everyone else

Ali is not the greatest Armstrong, Pep, Robinson. Are all higher than Ali and i don't care what anyone says Ali should have at least 8 losses on his record.

    He lost to Young.
He lost 2 out of 3 to Norton.
He should of got DQ against Cooper.
    He lost to Shavers.

Ice it's unfortunate that all of those great fighters can have question marks put over there names

Armstrong started his career as a jobber, he was paid to lose fights and as such we have no idea of his true record or whether favours were returned.

Pep was a star in a shady time for boxing, opposition was questionable and his most famed fights were gritty dirty affairs (with saddler.)

Robinson finished his career as a jobber in MSG...I'm terribly sorry to say his record is in question.

Oh why oh why wasn't boxing the perfect world it is nowadays

and to quote further robinson lost his crown 5 times! if he was truly a p4p number one of all time would he really have all those losses on his record? because he certainly has more than Ali who you seem to think is far below him

Norton vs Ali 3 was a flatout robbery, and Young out boxed Ali, i see both fights and no way on this earth Ali deserved to win these fights. Mayweather vs Castillo 1 was close, and it was 1 point in it either way, Judah should of been DQ not Mayweather.

At the end of his career most of his losses come from.
