I've come to my senses that in order for me to rate Pep & Saddler I need to have seen more then just 4 fights. At that I've only see 1 complete fight as the rest we're Highlights. With that being said here goes:
1. Sanchez
2. Nelson
3. Saldivar
4. Ramos
5. Alexis
6. Moore
7. Pedroza
8. JMM
9. Pacquiao
10. Hamed
I'd also like to point out that Pedroza is ALWAYS overlooked.![]()
Good 10 Mick but Hamed 10 bit harsh?
I was thinking 10 is pretty much perfect. That's a good list MickOriginally Posted by MAYWEATHER P4P#1

1 bad night against Barrera and he gets 10th?Originally Posted by Kel

and IMO those 9 had an all around better career then Naz. Also keep in mind I rated fighters like Alexis, Nelson, JMM who can arguably be rated at other divisions. For example Alexis is mostly rated as a Super Feather.
From who i have actually seen enough footage of too rate them ??
This isn't in order.
Salvador Sanchez
Azumah Nelson
Naseem Hamed
Juan Manuel Marquez
Danny Lopez
Manny Pacquiao
Alexis Arguello
Jorge Paez
ETC
There are fighters like.
Sandy Saddler
Willie Pep
But i haven't seen enough footage of them so im not going to put them on my list when i haven't hardly seen them fight.
Thanks Kel...Originally Posted by Kel

I haven't got the most knowledge on Featherweight's i have a lot to learn. So i cannot rate them 1 to 10 sorry but im not going to lie to you, im telling you the truth my knowledge isn't great enough to list them 1 to 10, plus i need to see more fighters at Featherweight like a few on Mick's list come to mind but i have hardly seen any of there fights so i won't list a fighter that i have hardly seen any footage of.Originally Posted by MAYWEATHER P4P#1

Saldivar is a good choice Mick. He is often forgotten.
True eagle, and so is Eusebio.Originally Posted by eagle
Both exceptional fighters Saldivar was something special in the ring moved well and had exceptional skill.
Eusebio is vastly over looked all in all he was also an exceptional fighter.
mick its kinda hard putting pac in that list but im glad you did. Reason being is that I don't think we will remember pac at 126 as much as we will remember him above that weight. The first fight with mab is clearly his first rise to the top but imo pac just scrape the featherweight then never took more time to be listed as a 126'pounder. I'd favor JMM to be listed as a 125pounder cause after pac, mab, eric left it was jmm's division. Unlike how all four was once there, nobody could really claim the division for themselves. Exept mab before pac beat him he was dubbed featherweight KING. Afterwards pac was never dubbed as king though, he was dubbed as the "peoples champ" remember that mick? then pac insisted he wanted eric, but he had to fight jmm first at 126....we all know what happened there. He still got his fight with eric though but not at 126, they would have their trilogy at 130.Originally Posted by CutMeMick
I said earlier that jmm is more suited in that list then pac becuase jmm does not have much fights at 130 as a matter of fact he has very little and a lot more at 126. As for pac, his career may have began to reach elite class at the featherweights but his already planning on moving to lightweights and I believe he has a lot more damage to do in that division although he reck havok at the featherweight/superfeatherweight division. So we should all stay tune
also I don't know how you can rate S.salvador at number 1, when you say you haven't gotten to see enough of sandler and pep thats why you didn't list them. In sanches case, he never even reach his prime though and only had a few fights to declare his greatness, I just want to ask if your sure sanchez is the best featherweight of all time? In that case, do you think history repeated itself but this one at featherweight and not flyweight. Because in my oppinion pancho was the same story but at the flyweights. What do you think?
