    Default Predict your Ring Champions by the end of 2008...

    Current Ring (universally recognized) champions:

    Jr. Flyweight - Ivan Calderdon
    Flyweight - Vacant
    Jr. Bantamweight - Vacant
    Batnamweight - Vacant
    Jr. Featherweight - Isreal Vasquez
    Featherweight - Vacant
    Jr. Lightweight - Vacant
    Lightweight - Joel Casamayor
    Jr. Welterweight - Ricky Hatton
    Welterweight - Floyd Mayweather Jr.
    Jr. Middleweight - Vacant
    Middleweight - Kelly Pavlik

    Predicted Ring (universally recognized) champions by the end of 2008...

    Jr. Flyweight - Ivan Calderdon. Nobody's beating him, not even Solis.
    Flyweight - Nonito Donaire. He'll get a fight with Naito and win.
    Jr. Bantamweight - Vacant. Nobody in this weight class distinguishes themself in 2008.
    Bantamweight - Vacant. Nobody in this weight class distinguishes themself in 2008.
    Jr. Featherweight - Rafael Marquez. He wins the rubber match with Isreal and becomes the undisputed king of the division. Ponce De Leon loses rematch with Caballero.
    Featherweight - Chris John. Manny's gone for good and John's still undefeated. Linares moves up to #2.
    Jr. Lightweight - Vacant. Manny TKOs JMM in 11 but then moves up to lightweight. What's left in the division is Valero who has defeated Guzman and a very game JMM. Roman Martinez moves up into the top 5.
    Lightweight - Vacant. Juan Diaz deals with contractual disputes with Don King for the majority of the year. Joel Casamayor moves up to secure bigger fights. Manny decisions David Diaz. Amir Khan moves into the top 5. Peterson brothers start making some real noise.
    Jr. Welterweight - Ricky Hatton. Hatton returns after a loss to ODLH to decision Malignaggi. Witter wins a controversial decision against D-Hop. Gavin Rees shockingly gets knocked out by Vivian Harris. Vivian is now calling himself the best junior lightweight in the world. Casamayor decisions JLC.
    Welterweight - Floyd Mayweather. In a busy 2008, PBF doesn't fight and people are pissed that he's still considered champion. Clottey becomes champion after TKOing Cintron. Cotto defeats Margarito in a shady "gift" decision in June and then defeats Clottey for his title in the winter. Paul Williams shockingly stops Sugar Shane Mosley. ODLH returns to 147 in May to KO Hatton and then moves back up. Judah KOs Berto, decisions Collazo and claims he's now the "most feared welterweight" in the world.
    Jr. Middleweight - Vernon Forrest. Forrest defeats Spinks in what is viewed as the worst title fight ever. Karmazin's career has rebounded nicely with KOs over Alcine and Travis Simms. This becomes one of the worst divisions in boxing.
    Middleweight - Kelly Pavlik. JT shocks the world with a TKO of Pavlik in 5. In the rubber match, JT wins a very close decision. The middleweight titles still technically belong to Kelly Pavlik since the fights were above 160. In a big step up, John Duddy gets decisioned by Felix Sturm. Winky Wright decisions Arthur Abraham breathing new life into his career. At a special catchweight of 158 pounds, Felix Trinidad stops ODLH in 11 rounds.
    Super Middleweight - Joe Calzaghe. Joe Calzaghe defeats B-Hop in Yankee Stadium but doesn't retire. Lucian Bute KOs Mikkel Kessler in Denmark. Allan Green defeats Sakio Bika in a Contender special. Anthony Mundine decisions Jeff Lacy. Carl Froch defeats Andrade and is calling out for a fight with Bute or JoeCal. Jean Pascal TKOs Edison Miranda and becomes a legit contender in the division. Andre Ward moves into the top 10. Dennis Inkin is still undefeated. Jermain Taylor moves into the division after winning his rivarly with Pavlik. Chad Dawson moves down from light heavy to secure a big fight with JT. This is the hottest division in boxing.

Povetkin KOs Valuev. Sam Peter stays busy. Division's undisputed champion is now Wlad with Peter and Povetkin as his greatest challenges.

    So if Inkin has stayed undefeated, does that mean you are picking him to beat Froch. If Froch loses there is no way he can call out Calzaghe and Bute...he will, but he'll be ignored.
