Default Gavin Rees Offers Ricky Hatton A Shot At His Old Title

Rees told the media, “it would hand Ricky a shot at a title, it’s a fight the British public will love, it’ll be England vs Wales and two warriors going toe-to-toe and it ticks all the boxes.” Rees continued, “I respect Ricky, he’s an incredible boxer and showed great courage by putting his reputation on the line to fight Mayweather, but now he’s looking for a title, he might like a go at me. I do believe I’d beat him.

Gavin Rees is chatting balls how on earth would he beat Ricky besides Ricky getting DQ, as I say a complete mismatch and Hatton within 4 rounds.

Yeah, but Rees walks away with two black eyes, a cracked rib and a huge stash of cash. I'd go four rounds with Hatton for the amount of money Rees would make.

Good point forgot about that that would be the only good thing Rees would get out of it.

Props to Rees for wanting the best fighter out there but if Hatton is to fight anyone from these shores, it has to be Witter.

It has to be Witter 1st then rees & 3 top draw fights to finish Rickys career on a high can't see Ricky wanting to leave the scene without cleaning up the titles floating about in Britain.forget ODH & a return with PBF which would be pointless as mayweather would beat him again & further dent his rep stick in his weight group & cement his legacy

Im glad Rees wants a challenge. He will get beaten, but ill tell you this he isnt going to give that title away easily. He would be motivated and I believe Hatton would take him lightly. I dont think Rees would win, but he will do his best to win.
