Default Carl Froch - Dennis Inkin

This is the fight that needs to be happen !

WBC number 1 against WBC number 2 Inkin. If Calzaghe is looking like he is going to move up, it looks like the WBC belt is going to become vacant and these two will battle it out for the belt.

I think it will be a very good fight whilst it lasts, the fact that Froch lost in the amatuers but knocked him down and was unlucky to win, makes it even more appealing. Both men have the power and ability to end the fight from nothing. Ive been very happy with Carl Froch who is my favourite fighter, although his oppoisition has been questionable you can easily tell he has been out of there class.

Inkin hasnt done that much more but beat Mario Veit in a very close 7 rounds. Unlike Froch he hasnt had many stoppages of late and has been put on the mat by a challenger who wasnt very good. He won the fight but that puts the question mark over his chin. Carl Froch is averaging 6 rounds per fight and has 18 knock outs out of his 22 wins.

This match up is making perfect sense and both men really do need each other. A win for both men would be amazing for their 2008 campaigns and will be them near the top of a very competiative 168 weight class.

I think that Carl Froch will stop him though, his power is amazing and as soon as he lets them hands go any fight would be in danger. In his last fight he didnt even use his best punch...the right uppercut and if any fighter gets caught with that ( ask Sergey Tatevosyan ) they are going down. The power of his right hand is scary and will be the difference in the fight if he can land it. He doesnt waste his punches either, picks his shots and is very affective.

It will be his hardest fight but is overdue for the step-up. I see it be his best fight and highly entertaining. But my boy will stop him

for being a Froch fan, he's my fave British fighter as well.

Personally I think he batters Inkin and knocks him out in about 6 - 8 rounds.

No fighter who has a suspect chin and no punch of their own will trouble the Cobra.

It will take someone with a decent beard and who has enough power to hurt Froch when he inevitably hangs his chin out in utter contempt of his opponent.

Inkin ain't that kind of fighter.

cc back bilbo. but im thinking this is going to be a very likely fight this year and needs to be adressed.

As soon as that belt is vacant Froch-Inkin will fight for it.

It will be good and I agree someone with a not so decent chin will get sparked out by Froch.

Don't wanna rain on your parade but I've been predicting a Inkin win for a while.
I'm sure you guys remember 'G0MEZ' the poster who used to bring the latest Froch news to us. He and I had several debates about this match a while back. He to would say Froch will beat Inkin if they met as pros.

I think Inkins to smart now and he wouldn't engage in a trading shots battle with Froch. I think Inkin outboxes Froch for the better part of the fight and wins a Decision.

Well it's about time I had another sig bet. Inkin is a poor mans Marcus Beyer whilst Froch is a faster, more aggressive and more slick Danny Green.

    It will be a massacre.

Fucken precious sentence there Bilbs, in true hobbit fashion.

Inkins got the tools to beat Froch, I have nothing against Froch and at one point I was about to jump on the bandwagon but decided not to. Not sure why really as he's a good fighter. But I just feel Inkins a much better all aroud fighter. Also I feel that Inkins the better boxer. I see Froch more as the puncher/boxer and not the slick fighter you are painting. Just my thoughts....

Hes not bad, but he hasnt faught anybody to show that hes above Carl either. I admit Carl hasnt but they both show that they are above their level of fighting and should defiantly fight each other.

I would do a sig bet with this hands down! lets hope it happens
