Actually Paulie's hair wasn't quite as ridiculous as it has looked in recent fights. Maybe that's why he looked lacklustre?

I think maybe you can tell how in form Paulie is by looking at his head of hair. If it's bright green and looking like a root vegetable he's on the money, if it's drab and relatively he's feeling subpar.

Hopefully he'll bounce back with a fine head of orange fuzz next time and get some of the magic back.
