    Default The Heavyweight's

I am really sick of everyone saying how horrible the heavyweights are now. It's seems to me since there a no heavyweights who are american they ain't worth a damn to watch. That just isn't true.I would take any of these heavyweights Chageav,Ibragimov,Peter,Valeuv.Over any of the heavies of yesteryear like Coetzee,Weaver,Page,Tucker-a little later Bruno,Ruddock,Moorer.Any of these champs I would take over the older one's in there hayday.I think the real problem is we don't give them any credit when they really are a solid bunch of fighters.

there just isnt any real stand out fighters and real big match ups.

There's nothing that competes with what we had in the 90's ie. Lewis-Holyfield or Lewis-Tyson.

    dont Fuck with the chuck

There is a TON of parody in the heavyweight division and very little consistency....which is great because you never know who will win but it's bad in the fact that people won't faithfully support fighters they will just call them all crap.

I have a hard time seeing how any heavyweight would KTFO Wlad since he began working with Emmanuel Steward.

Ah, then apparently you missed the time he got KTFO by Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster. Who are hardly all time great Heavies.

Did you not read the part where I said "since he began working with Emmanuel Steward."? In case you didn't know, since he and Emmanuel paired up, he's undefeated and wrecked Brewster and Sanders in the rematches.

....Brewster I was his first fight with Manny in his corner.

But right now, yeah I'd take Wlad over a couple great fighters, though with respect I won't name him beating the greatest fighters of all-time but with his size, speed, and power he would give anyone trouble

In case YOU didn't know, he NEVER fought Sanders in a rematch, he had big brother do it for him. And like #1 klithead in the universe, Lyle, said, Manny was in his damn corner for the Brewster fight.

I stand corrected on the Brewster fight. CC for you.

But you can't deny the progress that Klitchko has made since those losses. I'm not saying that he's the greatest HW of all time, but he would hang with any of them. He'd probably beat a few of them, too.

IMO, when all is said and done, Klitchko should be ranked in the Top 5 of all time Heavyweights. It's a very bold statement, but he looks damn near unbeatable these days.

Wladimir, especially if he unifies should be considered a great fighter....not top 10 or anything but I would say he could solidly work his way into the top 15-20.

It's not that he isn't a friggin awesome fighter it's just the fighters out there look so bad against him. His record is mighty impressive given this era the heavyweights usually don't fight so much.

Funny that people thought James Toney could beat him though....hahahaha

CC back. But you are outta your FUKIN MIND if you think Wlad should be ranked in the top 5 of all time? Lennox isn't even top 5 and he was fukin worlds better than Wlad and accomplished way more against a lot better competition.

    Ohhhhh............... I hated Lennox Lewis.

Lewis vs. Klitchko would be a burner for sure. Keep in mind that it's not Wlad's fault if the other heavyweights pretty much suck, because I'm pretty sure that Klitchko would have whipped on the same guys that Lummox beat.

Well....it wasn't "better competition" it was "well established" competition: Tommy Morrison, Ray Mercer, David Tua, Hasim Rahman, Shannon Briggs, Andruw Golota are no better than what Wladimir has fought, they just have name recognition.

Lennox did have Evander Holyfield and that is his biggest win...both those fights were good but the decisions (in both of them) sucked
