Am I the only whos dizzy here with all these buttons and all?

I feel like Alice sutmbling down a rabbit hole.....

I've made several posts today but for some reason I don't see them.
I'm not even sure if this thread will even show up.

I posted in one of Bilbos threads and I also posted is Snakeys thread and nothing....

Anyone know if theres some type of delay... Like the posts show up after a few minutes or something?

For example I can see when I'm on the General Page that the latest post was done in a particular thread by a particular person. But once I click on Boxing Talk it'll be different. Say I saw JTRock made the last post then when I clicked on Boxing Talk and look at that same thread it'll show that LordsGym is the last post...

Also when I go to UseCP it says 2 people have gave me Rep but it doesn't tell me what kind of Rep?

not sure mate it aint happening to me.... will look into it though. i did notice you deleted a post in the bilbo thread as you had already posted it... might be the fact of people posting the same time as you mate and it going to a new page.

you'll get it mate i was all over the place yesterday but am getting alot more productive as i'm setting everyones CC ratio but its a pain at the minute as i have to do each user one by one

i set a few things in your profile mate till you get your feet

I need a nap.... My heads hurting from soo much clicking on buttons and trying to figure out where my posts are going...

I also saw my post counts gone down... I was at about 17,700 more or less.

I see people online and I think I see posting but I'm not even sure of that either as I've posted several messages on Boxing Talk and when I submit my reply it'll show that it's been posted but once I leave the thread and go back in it's not there......

Really worried here....

mate i have no idea ive just set your post count and checked your profile thare is nothing in there that could be causeing this....

Try logging out... clearing your cookies then logging back in.

just one question when you open a thread is the orderof the post old at the top new at the bottom THAT IS how it should be but just checking

It appears that I have to Refresh my page EVERYTIME I go into another page

Not sure why.

For example I see your posts here but once I click reply and then I click on Admin. Board it won't show me as the last post It'll still show you (Saddo) as the last post. It's not until I click on Refresh that it'll show me as the last post. I didn't have to do that on the other board....

Well I've also noticed I got about 775 PM's to go thru and see which ones I need and which ones I don't

Mate I know you've got loads to sort so get me off your list/mind.... I'm sure as time goes by I'll get the hang of it just like the other forum.

Also was thinking maybe you should make a 'To Do List' (Thread) in the Admin. Board where you can go in there at any time and add/comment on things that you and the rest of the MOD's might encounter.
For example:

- Set CC/SC ratios
- Change Rep. descriptions
- etc.
- etc.
- etc.

I'm saying this cause I don't wanna be sending you PM's everytime I got a question or something.
This way we can ALL use that thread to communicate with eachother and learn things about the forum from one another.

One of the things to think about is some type of sign that you've just received Rep. (good or bad) cause I didn't know I had received some until I went to UserCP.... You know how we have that PM window that pop's up when you've received one... Just thought unless there is already a way of knowing you've just received Rep. other then going to UserCP and checking....

from the forum to the homepage to the posts yeah mate there is a slow updaing the boards i think its to save the database from working to hard.

its not the case with the post threads though so not sure why your missing them

anyhooo a few tips for you...

the MQ at the bottom right of all the posts is for multi quotes just click them once till it is red then click another post till it is red and then click reply and it will quote every post that you clicked red.

the quote button only quotes one.

i think i set you up with a posting window that has smilies and all the funk editing stuff on it if not you can set that in your profile.

i also set it so you get a small popup everytime you get a pm telling you so.. you can disable that in your profile as well as a few other things.

also when you get a minute have a look at the FAQ top of the board might just help you with what all the buttons are mate.

i know its a massive change mate but it'll be for the best once everyones got to grips with how it all work... your not alone i struggled thats how sneaky got in the mod boards as theres fucking tons of setting to this thing and its taen me ages to find them all

Heres another one.

In the old forum when you clicked reply and you were in the text box you used to be able to scroll down and add other quotes in the text box.
So you could reply to 3, 4 people at once...

Not here, you can't add any quotes.....

Mate, Hope I'm not going off here I'm jut throwing things out there that I think can help. As I think people like myself and plenty of others like to reply to several posts.
