Lopsided UD for Williams. Say 118-110
Too tall and has a great work rate and solid chin. I think Quintana will just go the distance.

    I'm with eagle....
Wide decision here... I can't see Carlos wining more the 2 rounds.

Quintana too squared and too slow for Williams pace .I think Williams has a way's to go overall,Smothers himself and power, also having a solid chin could mean Its obvious & you continually have to prove It when Paul stands straight up..But here I'll take Rue Paul via Late tko or W.u 12

I feel that although Quinatan is a pretty respected guy, he may well be the perfect foe for Williams.
He's a decent boxer but his defence is limited by his stance and he should be picked off by Williams pretty easily.
He'll have to something pretty special to stay competitive with Williams output also.

Williams should clear cut a UD.

Its hard to see how williams could be beatn in this one. As others have said (Eagle and CMM) it should be a wide UD.

I hear rumors from people close to Quintana (I live near his home town) that he looks great and is training real hard and is super confident.

Whether that means something or not is another story but Williams better not be looking passed Quintana.

I feel bad that he was put against Williams. I feel Carlos was not ready for Cotto yet and 2 fights later he's fighting a man who's even more dificult in Williams. Cotto might be more dangarous but Williams brings a lot of physical advantages to the table and along with his high work rate we know he can take a punch.

I will root for my man Quintana but I question whether he really has what it takes to become a champion.

hey thanks for your inside report. without sounding like a complete dumbass i believe carlos is from puerto rico? so you live in puerto rico bud?

yeah i agree carlos came off of a big win right before cotto. but in my experience everyone in my circle and around the gym seriously thought carlos was going to outbox cotto for some reason? i was the only one who thought cotto was going to beat carlos but little did i know it was going to be such a devistating body shot like that. WHOA.

Everytime I think about this fight I remember how much money I could've made out of it.

See I'm originally from the metropolitan area or north east reagion of the island, close to San Juan and also to Caguas which is Cotto's hometown. So I knew all about Cotto and been following him for a while.

Then I move to the west side of the island near Moca, which is where Quintana is from. And EVERYBODY in town knew, I mean they were dead certain that Quintana would beat up Cotto. They were putting all kinds of money on the line, I'm talking thousands of dollars on Quintana. I was looking at all thes people like..." you are kidding right? Cotto's gonna kill this kid" But I didn't have much money and I was never a gambler so I missed out. A buddy of mine did make $2500 though....
