How do you see Carl Johnasson v Kevin Mitchell going ??

It's the main undercard bout on the Macca-Haye bill.

I see Johnasson winning IMO as Kevin has'nt boxed any great fighters and his opponents have been handpicked and Johnasson has the better power of the two.

I'am going for Mitchell to get Johnasson out of there by the 6th.Think Mitchell has abit to much skill for CJ, and brake him down.

I can not see Kev Mitchell losing this one at all .. tuff kid ... as is Carl, our local lad here in Leeds.

But for me Kev's just got too much class all round, there is knowbody more guttsy than Carl, as well as being a cute boxer too ... but that said Kev for me is the more rounded package.

I think his speed will be a crucial factor against Carl, and I believe he has enough about him to out box Carl quite comfortably ... he can when needed go into the trenches too as can Carl as he has shown,

And I feel in this one he (KM) may have enough about him to avoid any trench warfare until Carl starts to tire ...

So I feel Kev big on points or maybe for him to force a stoppage from the eigth round onwards...

Frank Warren paid a ton of money to sign Mitchell and has brought him along slowly even by Warren standards. Johansson is promoted IIRC by Frank Maloney which means Warren's matchmaker thinks that Mitchell is ready for British title level. While Johansson is a domestic level Mitchell is good enough to eventually win European/alpahbet world title belts so if Warren's team reckon he's ready for British level I wouldn't bet against him.

I hope Mitchell wins, he is a good fighter. Johnasson is also a good fighter but lost in a humiliating way for the European title and I see him get beat again.

Hahahaha yeah yvonne, it would be great to see Carl beat Kev Mitchell, but sadly lol ... I'm a realist & as I've pointed out Kev for me at least is the much more rounded article, a lovely boxer to watch, if not a little upright at times ...

So as loyal as I can be to Carl, who is a sound lad who Ive met on occasions, is ill be rooting for ya bud ... and good luck.

What can ya say ... at the end of the day I feel Kevs speed of punch will be too much for Carl as the fight goes on ... that and the fact that he is no slouch puncher either ... good luck though Carl ... because I am in no doubt at all that you will give your best and all that you have to give..

Mitchelle by UD. The guys skilled and does a lot of things right. Always thinking a step ahead of the opponent and knows what he's got to do to win. Carls got heart and determination and he's shown that it counts for something. Still I think Kevins the better boxer....
